US Open Betting OffersIf you are looking for a bet on this week’s forthcoming US Open Golf tournament taking place at Erin Hills, Wisconsin then this is the place to look.

Outlined below are some of the offers and deals you can find available at many of our top betting sites.

NOTE: All offers are for existing customers so if you don’t have an account you can claim the welcome bonus as well (all are listed in brackets below).

US Open Free Bets

Bet £20 Get £5 Free EVERYDAY

Ladbrokes (bet £10 get £30) have gone big on the US Open this week. Existing or newly joined customers that bet £20 or £20 each way on the Outright Winner market of the US Open before the tournament begins, receive a free £5 bet on each of the four days of the tournament.

Free bets are awarded to players at the start of play each day and must be used in full as a Win Single bet only.

Get £5 free everyday when you bet £20 at Ladbrokes on the 2017 US Open.

*This is without a doubt the best US Open betting offer available.

Bet £20 Get £2 Free Bet For Every 2 Carded

Place a bet on the Outright Winner market of the US Open with Boylesports of up to £50 and if your selection finishes the tournament in either second or third place, then Boylesports will refund your stake as a free bet.

In addition, if you have an each way bet on the Outright Winner market with Boylesports and your selection finishes in the top 7 of the tournament (including ties), then Boylesports will pay you out at 1/5 of the stated odds.

Finally, if you place a bet of £20 or more on the Outright Winner market with Boylesports, then every time your chosen player cards a score of 2 on their scorecard, by getting a birdie at a par three or perhaps even an eagle at a par four, then you will receive a free bet to the value of £2 credited to your free bet account.

Get a £25 free bet bundle at Boylesports and claim the above offers here.

US Open Each Way Offers:

Wondering where to get the best odds on each way bets and the most places paid for the US Open, then check out these bookmakers offers:

8 Places Paid On Each Way Bets (1/5 odds)

Four leading companies in the UK, Coral (bet £5 get £20), Paddy Power (bet £10 get £30), Skybet (£10 free no deposit) and Betfair (bet £10 get £30) are offering a decent value each way bet on the US Open golf, with each way payouts of 1/5 of the stated odds, but paid out on any golfers finishing inside the top 8.

This is the best deal you’re going to find in terms of places paid in the each way markets for the event but do note places are paid at 1/5 odds not 1/4 (we’ve got a 1/4 deal below if you prefer).

6 Places Paid On Each Way Bets (1/4 odds)

Place an each way bet with Bet365 (100% deposit bonus up to £200), Totesport (£25 free bet) or Betfred (bet £10 get £60) on the Outright Winner market for the US Open this week at Erin Hills and all the bookmakers will pay out on any backed golfer that finishes in the top six (tied places inclusive) at 1/4 the stated odds.

Obviously not as generous in terms of place paid on each way bets but you get a higher payout at 1/4 odds. For example a £10 each way bet on a 20/1 shot with Bet365 would pay £5, with Coral it would pay £4.

* As you can see there are a number of top quality offers available, though some offer better value than others and depending on the type of bonus you are looking for, it may be worth shopping around to get the best bonus you can find dependent upon the golfer you want to back or the bet you want to make.

Bet365 Bad ReviewsIf you look at the online reviews for any major company you will find both glowing endorsements and angry criticism of the organisation.

In the case of bookmaker and online gambling provider Bet365, however, the bad reviews that are out there seem to totally contradict our Bet365 review (where we rate them as a 5* bookie).

If you google ‘Bet365 Review’ you’ll both good and bad reviews. We want to address those bad Bet365 reviews and explain why we disagree…

Bad Bet365 Reviews & Comments: Explained

There are five main points that all negative reviews of Bet365 seem to focus on, we’re going to address all of them.

#1 – ID Provision & Account Verification

Account Verification IDA huge number of the negative reviews of Bet365 are written by customers who are unhappy at having been asked to provide proof of identity, in order for the company to verify their account and therefore allow withdrawals.

We get it… they let you deposit and spend your money but then they why do they want ID to make a withdrawal?

All online bookmakers and gambling providers are legally required to request such proof of identification and do not single out individual punters.

The reason you are required to do this is in order to:

  1. Prevent minors from illegally accessing their services.
  2. Guard against their sites being used for money laundering.

Even the most frustrated of reviewers surely can’t possibly argue that those aren’t good reasons for account verification to be required.

Note: when bad reviews focus on the time it takes for the verfication process to be completed and not the actual process then we can understand your frustration.

#2 – Bet365 Bonus T&C’s

Terms & ConditionsAnother common complaint aimed at Bet365 by negative reviewers concerns the terms and conditions that the company attach to their promotions and bonuses.

Basically you’ve got to meet a wagering requirement of 3x your deposit + bonus amount to withdraw the deposit bonus they offer new customers.

In this area, we can have a little more sympathy for customers complaining.

On the surface, to a new punter, it can look like they are getting something for nothing (even though new gambling advertising regulations have been implemented to stop this as much as possible).

The bottom line here is quite simple. You MUST read the terms and conditions of any gambling offer. The offers are in place to attract you to sign up and NOT to put the company out of business.

We actually feel Bet365 do a pretty good job of making it as clear as possible that T&C’s are attached to their opening bonus and you’ll notice they never use the word ‘free’ when advertising the deal.

The Bet365 bonus is actually the biggest offered in the industry, get your 100% deposit bonus up to £200 here.

#3 – Account Closure and Limitation

Account ClosedWhy have Bet365 closed or limited my account?

Account closure and limitation is something else which is mentioned in a lot of bad Bet365 reviews. Having an account closed or the level of bets allowed to be placed limited will undoubtedly, after all, be frustrating for anyone.

Once again, however, it does have to be noted that Bet365 are by no means the only company who do this. In fact, there is no major bookmaker or gambling provider who doesn’t close or limit certain accounts – it is simply a fact of the industry.

Furthermore, whilst Bet365 do close and limit accounts, the process of doing so is far from theft or fraud, which is how it is characterised by some reviewers. The company will never, after all, remove any fairly won money from a customer’s account and instead simply limit the amount a profitable punter can bet going forward.

When your account is closed or limit your will ALWAYS be able to withdraw your winnings and move to another bookmaker if you please.

#4 – Casino Games Are Fixed / Rigged

Casino GamesPlenty of negative Bet365 reviews also claim that the company’s casino client is in some way rigged or has a winning ratio that is far lower than it should be.

Right out of the gate let us say that this is total rubbish and shows a profound lack of understanding of how online gambling works.

Online casinos, after all, are licensed and regulated by official bodies and have games which are run by random number generators (RNGs). Those RNGs are then independently and stringently tested in order to ensure that they provide winning ratios which are not only above board but also exactly as advertised on the casino’s website.

There is, of course, a house edge involved when it comes to the playing of any game but if there wasn’t, then no online casinos would exist. A failure to understand this fundamental aspect of playing casino games, therefore, is all that can explain this variety of bad Bet365 reviews.

#5 – Cash Out Broken: Delays & Glitches

Cash Out BrokenFinally, a number of more negative Bet365 reviews also complain about delays or problems occurring when trying to cash out an in-play bet.

Once again, it’s entirely understandable that a punter might be frustrated when this occurs, but the idea that such issues are engineered in order to avoid paying out winnings is farcical.

Even a cursory glance at Bet365’s terms and conditions regarding cash out will tell any punter that cashing out while an event is in-play is subject to a delay, and that if a market changes or is suspended then the cash out request will fail.

This is simply unavoidable when it comes to in-play betting and cash out facilities, and is commonplace across the industry and not just in the case of Bet365. Technical glitches with cash out, too, whilst unquestionably annoying are once again largely unavoidable and are not evidence that Bet365 are unfairly stacking the deck.

Where Are The Bad Reviews Coming From?

The above, therefore, should hopefully debunk some of the more nonsensical bad Bet365 reviews that are out there. The number of such ridiculous reviews that are in evidence, however, does beg the question of exactly where they’re all coming from…

A handful of far-fetched negative reviews, after all, could be explained by a few disgruntled punters who don’t have a particularly good handle on how online gambling actually works. A larger number of such reviews, however, may suggest that rivals of Bet365 may have a hand in spawning such negative publicity.

Whether that is definitively the case remains to be seen, but bad Bet365 reviews which specifically name a rival company the supposed reviewer is going to take their business to, certainly seem more than a little suspicious.

A fan of betting on events in different time zones? Placed a bet on a race you can’t watch? Think you can’t cash out while you’re asleep or busy? Well Bet365’s newest innovation, Auto Cash Out, means you can think again.

This new Auto Cash Out feature allows customers to create ‘cash out rules’ which can be actioned without their further input. Here’s how it works…

What is Auto Cash Out at Bet365?

Auto Cash OutUpon placement of the bet or at any other time between then and the bet’s settlement, you can choose to create a cash out rule, which will mean that the bet is automatically cashed out if the cash out offer reaches a certain threshold.

That threshold will be whatever you choose to set it at, and the auto cash out will take effect regardless of whether you are logged in to your Bet365 account or not.

To make the new feature even more user friendly, auto partial cash out is also available. That means you can set your cash out threshold but then instruct Bet365 as to how much you wish to be cashed out and how much you wish to let ride.

Auto Cash Out example:

Say a you place a £10 bet on a team to win the Superbowl at 3/1 (returns £40 total).

With auto cash out, yout could create a cash out rule that means your bet will be cashed out if at any point the cash out offer exceeds £20.

Alternatively, with auto partial cash out, you could instruct for a total of £15 to be cashed out at that point, whilst the remaining £5 is allowed to ride.

Either way you don’t need to be logged in for the cash out to happen.

Fancy a go? Get a 100% bonus up to £200 at Bet365 now!

How to Use Auto Cash Out: Step By Step

As innovative and ground-breaking as auto cash out is, it is actually really simple to use. All you need do is follow these simple steps:

  • Go to Bet365 and log in or join now (100% bonus up to £200).
  • Place the bet you wish to place and then head to the cash out section of your account.
  • Click or tap the cog icon found at the right of the cash out button, and select the ‘Auto Cash Out’ option.
  • Enter the threshold value at which you wish a cash out to occur into the ‘If the value reaches’ field.
  • Alter the cash out slider to set the amount you wish to be cashed out. Leave it at the maximum level if you want the entire bet to be cashed out or lower it if you want it to be a partial cash out.
  • Select ‘Create Rule’ to give auto cash out your instruction.
  • Do whatever you want, safe in the knowledge that your cash out instructions will be followed without the need for you to do anything else at all.

If you do wish to change or to remove your cash out rule at any time, you can simply follow the same steps and make the required alterations.

Auto Cash Out Terms & Conditions

Fortunately, the terms and conditions associated with use of auto cash out are broadly similar to those applied to Bet365’s cash out facility more generally. The most notable of them are as follows:

  • Auto cash out is available on selected events, fixtures and markets for sports including football, tennis, cricket, basketball, rugby league and Aussie rules.
  • All cash out requests are subject to a time delay, including auto cash out requests. If a market is suspended or the cash amount changes during that delay, the request may fail.
  • If an auto cash out request is successful, the bet is settled immediately. The final result of the market in question will have no impact on the winnings received (except in the case of partial cash out).
  • Some Bet365 bonuses and promotions will not be applied where any cash out feature has been used to either partially or wholly settle a bet.
  • The full collection of terms and conditions which apply to auto cash out can be found through the Bet365 website.

Paddy Power Cash Card PPlusAlthough online betting is extremely convenient in a great many ways, there are times when it can be an inconvenience and the most obvious of these is when you want access to your winnings. In many cases, a punter can have to wait 2-3 days or maybe longer for their cash to be transferred from their account to their card, bank account or another chosen payment method.

However, to resolve this, Paddy Power have now come up with the perfect answer, the Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus.

At a single stroke, Paddy Power have now offered any of its customers that elect to request and use one of these cards instant access to their winnings, in cash, withdrawn from an ATM machine.

What is the Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus?

The Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus is a debit card (offered by IDT Financial Services using MasterCard) that operates from your Paddy Power online account, rather than a separate credit account (as how a credit card would operate) or from your own bank account (as your personal debit card operates).

What this card does is allow you access to any funds in your Paddy Power account from the moment they are added to the account, through using the Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus as you would a standard debit card.

The great thing about the card is that it allows punters immediate access to any withdrawable funds in their account. Furthermore, you cannot go overdrawn on your card as it will not authorise a payment that you cannot fund from the reserves in your account.

With no charges to pay, no debt incurred, Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus offers a simple, cost-effective and immediate solution to the issue of getting your hands on your online winnings quickly and easily.

How get a Paddy Power PPlus Card

If you would like a Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus then you need to request one from Paddy Power. This is a simple process:

  1. First you need a Paddy Power account – click here to get one and claim their bet £10 get £30 in free bets offer!
  2. Log into your account and click on “My Account” at PaddyPower.com
  3. Click into the Cash Card PPlus menu.
  4. Click the “Request a Card” button and submit the details requested.
  5. You will then receive your Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus, and also a secure PIN Number for it, within 14 days.

Paddy Power Credit Card

How to set up and use the card

Once you have received the card, you simply log back in to your Paddy Power account and activate the card with them in the My Account section to set up the link between your card and your Paddy Power account. Once this is completed, you can now use your Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus as you would a standard debit card.

This means you can:

  • Withdraw any funds held in your Paddy Power account from any ATM that accepts Mastercard.
  • You can pay for items in any shop, restaurant, bar or other location that accepts MasterCard either using Chip and Pin or using Contactless payment technology. You can even use the card to receive Cash Back from the assistant if the shop offers the service.
  • You can use your Paddy Power Cash Card PPlus to pay for goods online.

Should you bother?

Essentially, what this card from Paddy Power offers you is a pre-paid debit card, similar to the cards you can get to take away your holiday spends with you. The card offers you all the flexibility of a credit or debit card, while stopping you running up any debt as it only operates from the balance that it is linked to, in this case your Paddy Power online account balance.

If you request to make a payment that would use up more than the available funds in your Paddy Power Account, then your request would be declined, thus ensuring that you can never fall into debt using the card.

There are tangible benefits to holding the card, especially if you have a lot of money tied up in your Paddy Power account and would like instant access to it. For these punters especially, the card is the easiest way to access your funds quickly and easily.

However, even for infrequent punters, the card offers a simple solution to receiving and using your winnings achieved online quickly and easily.

Sick of injuries messing up your bets? Wish you didn’t add a certain selection to your acca? Starting 11 not as you expected? Well now you’ve got a way out…

Betting giants Bet365 have rolled out an exciting new ‘Edit Bet’ feature. Building upon the bookies’ long established cash out facility, the new Edit Bet feature allows customers to alter both pre-match and in-play accumulators by removing, swapping or adding selections.

What is Edit Bet at Bet365?

Bet365 Edit BetBet365’s Edit Bet feature is an innovative utilisation of the existing cash out facility. In order to edit a bet, a customer’s initial wager is cashed out and their newly altered bet is placed using the cash out amount as the stake.

Editing a bet is only possible when cash out is available for all unsettled selections within the original bet and the outcome of the original bet is not determined (so you can’t do it when markets are suspended).

You can make multiple changes to a bet as part of one single Edit Bet request – including removing, adding and swapping selections – and there are also no limits placed upon the number of times any one bet can be edited.

If all of that has got you excited about the new feature, you will want to read on and find out exactly how to use it…

How To Edit Your Bet

  1. Visit the Bet365 website and log into your account.
  2. Tab the ‘edit bet’ button on your ‘cash out’ tab (top right corner).
  3. To add a selection click the ‘+ add selections’ option and select the bet to add as you would when you first placed the bet, save and confirm to update your bet.
  4. To make a swap click the selection to swap on your betslip and a popup window will appear which lets you change you bet within the same market, when finished save and confirm.
  5. To remove a selection all you need to do is hit the ‘X’ icon after tapping the ‘edit bet’ button (if you make a mistake hit the ‘undo’ button).

Please note: whilst a bet is being edited – whether that be to add, remove or swap a selection – the Edit Bet view will not show any already settled selections. These selections, if they are part of the bet being edited, will still be catered for in the cash out calculation which is made in the process of editing the bet.

Edit Bet Terms & Conditions

The above information should provide a good overview of Bet365’s Edit Bet feature and how it works. As with any element of online gambling, however, it is also subject to an array of terms and conditions and the following are some of the most notable:

  • Customers resident in Australia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic or Italy are not eligible to use the feature.
  • The feature is offered on selected events, fixtures and markets across a variety of different sports.
  • A time delay occurs when validating an Edit Bet request. If any price changes or a market is suspended during this delay, the request may not be successful.
  • The Edit Bet feature is not available for any each-way bets.
  • When a bet is edited, the initial bet stake does not count towards any offers with turnover requirements. The new stake, however, can count providing that the altered selections still meet with the offer’s qualifying criteria.
  • The full selection of Edit Bet terms & Conditions can be found on the Bet365 website.

How Come Bet365 Can Show The Game?

Bet365Good question…

The top and bottom of it is that because the game is played at the same time as the regular domestic games in England Sky Sports aren’t able to show it and nor are any other UK TV channel. The same way they aren’t allowed to broadcast the 3pm kick offs themselves as the FA feel it will detract from fans wanting to attend matches, reducing ticket sales revenue for clubs.

Bet365 have bought the rights to show all La Liga games to a UK audience via their live streaming service and aren’t tied down by the same restrictions that are imposed on TV Channels.

To access their service all you need is a Bet365 account with at least £5 in it – click here to open yours now (100% up to £200 deposit bonus included for all new customers).

Stream FAQ

Can I watch Barcelona v Real Madrid on iPhone?

Yes! The good news is that the Bet365 live streaming service works on both desktop and mobile devices. This means that you can watch El Classico on your iPhone or any other mobile phone for that matter.

Does it work on iPad as well?

Again more good news… the Bet365 service will work fine on your iPad as well… and on all other tablet devices for that matter. Basically no matter what device you have; iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy, PC, Laptop, Tablet you can watch the stream.

Do I have to bet on the game?

No. You only need to have a betting account with £5 in it to watch the stream for free. If you really want you can withdraw the money you deposit straight after the final whistle.

HOWEVER

There is a 100% deposit bonus up to £200 for all new customers at Bet365 if you fancy a punt on the game and we rate them with an A+ grade (the highest we dish out to any online bookies) so they are worth a try.

Next up in my series of the Battle of the Bookies we see one of the newest kids on the block take on one of the most venerable names in the British bookmaking industry as Bet365 face off against bookmaking veterans William Hill.

It can be hard to distinguish which company offers the best deal for punters when viewing their advertisements, so I’ve rated them in four key categories and by the end of the review, we’ll know which of the two has come out as the clear winner.

Account Offer

bet365 shield

  • 100% deposit bonus worth up to £200 free
  • 3x wagering requirement required to withdraw bonus cash
  • Minimum deposit to trigger bonus is £10
  • Bonus paid immediately upon receipt of first deposit
  • On The Go mobile bonus of 100%, up to £50, paid for first bet placed by mobile
William Hill shield

  • Bet £10 to release £20 in free bets
  • No wagering requirements, but stake not returned if you win your bonus cash bet
  • Minimum bet to trigger bonus is £10
  • Bonus paid into your account after you have made your qualifying first bet
  • No additional mobile bonus available

There’s plus points for Bet365 in terms of the size of its bonus (click here to get £200 Bet365 bonus now), which is considerably bigger than William Hill’s (click to bet £10 and get £20 free at William Hill), but William Hill don’t have wagering requirements for their bet which is a positive for them.

There’s no difference in the size of the first bet needed to trigger the bonus, most people can afford £10 and so it looks a close run thing. However what just about sways it here is the extra On The Go mobile bonus with Bet365, which offers you another free bet of up to £50 when you place your first bet by mobile.

These are two very strong introductory offers and either would be a good choice for a novice punter but I feel the extra value with Bet365 just shades it here.

Promotions

bet365 shield

  • Best Odds Guarantee on all horse racing markets
  • Channel 4/1 and Feature Race 4/1 offers free bets of up to £50
  • Euro Soccer Bonus paid on accas, up to 100% of your winnings
  • Bore Draw Money Back guarantee for games finishing in a 0-0 draw
  • 50% Parlay Offer on US Sports, other offers for Rugby and Australian sports
  • Cash Out on selected bets available
William Hill shield

  • Best Odds Guarantee on all UK and Irish horseracing
  • Money back Acca Insurance on 6-team bets or more
  • First Goalscorer 2nd Chance insurance
  • Bore Draw Insurance
  • Cash In My Bet available on selected markets

At first glance it looks as if both companies are close in terms of promotions too, but in actual fact, Bet365 are a clear winner in this category.

William Hill doesn’t offer as many promotions as Bet365 and their offers tend not to be as great a value as Bet365. In contrast, Bet365 have a wide range of promotions available across a large number of sports both at home in the UK and across the world.

Add to that the fact that Bet365 offer best odds on all horse racing, not just UK and Ireland and the team from Stoke-on-Trent come out clear winners in this round.

Click to see all Bet365 promotions – scroll to bottom of linked page and selection ‘promotions’ (footer link).

Click to see Will Hill promo’s – on linked page select ‘promotions’ from top menu box.

Website

bet365 shield

  • Support available via live chat, email and telephone
  • Live streaming of over 10,000+ sporting events per year
  • Apps available for Android and Apple devices, plus optimised mobile site
  • Full stats section and odds with dedicated In Play service
  • Intuitive site design, fast loading and very easy to use and place bets
William Hill shield

  • Telephone, email and live chat support available
  • WHTV Live Streaming service shows several sporting events each day
  • Apps available for Apple & Android devices, plus dedicated mobile site
  • Blogs and Tip Advisor service as well as dedicated Results section
  • Simple design but not the easiest to use, vast amount of information on screen

This is a very close call, both companies websites and apps are of the highest quality and offer a wide range of services. Both are generally easy to follow, but I think the more uncluttered approach of Bet365 works better (click to see website), especially on smaller handhelds where screen size is at a premium.

However, William Hill (click for site) bounces back with such a vast amount of accessible information available, even more than Bet365 offer, so to be fair here, I think this round is judged a very competitive draw between the two companies.

Reputation

bet365 shield

  • Most customers of any bookmaker in the world
  • Always pay out winning bets, no questions asked
  • Received the coveted A+ rating in my review
  • Will occasionally limit winning accounts and arbitrage bettors
William Hill shield

  • One of the oldest, most renowned and reputable bookmaking companies in the UK
  • Excellent reputation for paying out on bets
  • Received an excellent A rating in the Cheekypunter review
  • Do tend to limit winning accounts very quickly.

It is extremely hard to decide between the two in terms of reputation. Bet365 are the Johnny-come-lately’s who have performed exceptionally well, William Hill the venerable trusted face of the established bookmaking cognoscenti.

Both companies enjoy a deserved reputation for excellence, so we’ll call this final round a tie too, which means that overall, Bet365 just edges out William Hill in the Battle of the Bookmakers, chiefly due to better promotions and a slightly better value introductory offer.
