There’s a bunch of different 2013 Masters betting offers and promotions kicking around this week and in this blog post it’s my aim to document the best available. It’s going to be an awesome event and it’s one I know you guys will be betting on heavily so here’s where to get the best value.

Best Masters Betting Offers and Promotions

I’ve spent the morning checking out all the different 2013 Masters betting promotions and here’s my take on the best of what’s on offer:

Money Back If Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy Wins

The Masterstroke promotion running at BetVictor this week is about the best Masters betting offer I could find. It states that if you back any player to win the tournament and Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy end up winning you’ll get your bet refunded up to a maximum of £50.

This is a cash back offer so if are due a refund then you won’t get it in the form of a free bet you’ll actually get your money back. It only applies to bets that are placed on the tournament winner before the tournament starts.

PLUS if you already placed a bet on the winner of the 2013 Masters at BetVictor before the promotion was announced then BetVictor have decided to add their Masterstroke promo to your bet as a bonus – extra value for the win!

- Click here to visit BetVictor and get your money back if Tiger or Rory wins the tournament!

6 Places Each Way

The second best 2013 Masters betting offer I could find comes from Paddy Power who have decided to pay out the top 6 places for all each way bets on the tournament. All other online bookmakers I checked out were only offering payouts on the top 5 places so if you are planning to place an each way bet on the Masters then make sure you bet with Paddy Power.

The value in this promotion is pretty obvious and unlike when some bookmakers run this type of offer Paddy Power are still paying out at 1/4 odds on the place part of your each way bet. In the past I’ve seen bookies offer more places on each way bets but cut the payout to 1/5 for the place – not this time at Paddy Power though!

- Click THIS link to visit Paddy Power and get paid out on top 6 on all each way 2013 US Masters bets!

Money Back If British or Irish Player Wins

If you are planning to back a Yank to win this years US Masters then this money back offer from Ladbrokes is well worth checking out. Basically if any British or Irish (includes Rory McIlroy) player ends up winning the tournament outright Ladbrokes will refund your losing bet as a free bet up to a maximum of £25.

The following players are considered in the British or Irish bracket; Justin Rose, Lee Westwood, Luke Donald, Ian Poulter, Rory McIlroy, Padraig Harrington, Graeme McDowell, Paul Lawrie, Jamie Donaldson, Darren Clarke, David Lynn, Martin Laird, Alan Dunbar, Ian Woosnam, Sandy Lyle.

Remember that the refund for this offer comes in the form of a free bet so it’s not quite as attractive as the Betvictor but still worth checking out – especially if you are planning to back Tiger Woods to win the tournament!

- Click here to get your money back with Ladbrokes if a British or Irish player wins the 2013 Masters!

NOTE: The offers I’ve detailed above are what I consider to be the best 2013 US Masters betting offers and promotions. The list is not an exhaustive list of promos available.

Given that the race is just around the corner I thought I better make a blog post about the best Grand National sign up offers for 2013.

It’s actually pretty unusual to see any kind of Grand National offers or promotions kicking around on April 6th. Most bookmakers stop their free bet offers and promotions because they think people will sign up and bet anyway.

I’ve fired off emails to all the major online bookmakers over the last week to check in on what they’ll be offering on this years Grand National. Here’s the best of my findings:

Quick Links:

- £200 free Grand National sign up bonus
- Best odds guaranteed on the Grand National
- 6 places paid on all each way bets instead of 5
- Non runner no bet Grand National promotion

Best 2013 Grand National Offers & Promotions

There are 4 offers for the Grand National which I think are worth taking a look at. Here they are along with full details.

Bet365 Grand National Sign Up Offer

Bet365 are one of the only online betting sites who won’t be pulling their welcome bonus offer for the Grand National. This is awesome for anyone looking to open a new betting account for the Grand National as Bet365′s bonus is the biggest you can get at any online bookmakers.

The Grand National sign up bonus on offer is a 100% deposit bonus up to a maximum of £200. It basically means you’ll DOUBLE your first deposit amount for free instantly!

Here’s how to sign up and how it works:

1) First up give this link a click to visit Bet365.

2) Find the join now link in the top right (any join link will do) and give it a click.

3) Fill out the form and pick your new username and password.

4) Bet365 will now email you a 10 digit bonus code. This should happen instantly.

5) Go to the ‘My Account’ section after logging in and select deposit.

6) Select your deposit amount (must be at least £10) and enter the code you were sent.

7) The amount you’ve deposited will now be doubled instantly and it’s ready to bet with!

- Click here to claim the Bet365 £200 welcome bonus and instantly double your first deposit!

Bet365 Best Odds Guaranteed

This is just a shot one but if you place a bet on any horse to win the Grand National at Bet365 and the starting price odds of the horse are bigger than the price you took then Bet365 will pay you out at the bigger odds.

The best odds guaranteed promotion at Bet365 is just a nice little way to insure that you get the best possible odds on the horse you back to win the race. It sucks when you back a horse and the price drifts but it still wins and you’re left with a smaller payout than you deserve. This CAN’T happen at Bet365 on the Grand National.

- Click here to bet with Bet365 and get best odds guaranteed on the Grand National!

BetVictor Each Way Grand National Promotion

This is probably the best of all the different Grand National sign up offers available on Saturday.

If you open an account with BetVictor (or if you already have an account) and you place an each way bet on the Grand National then you’ll win the each way part of your bet if your horse finishes anywhere in the top 6 places!

All other bookmakers, both online and on the high street, are only offer payouts on the top 5 horses so if you back each way with BetVictor you’ve got a much better chance of a winning bet.

- Click here to open an account with BetVictor and get paid out 6 places not 5 on all e/w National bets!

Non Runner No Bet Grand National Offer

Both Bet365 and BetVictor are running this offer on all bets placed on the 2013 Grand National.

Basically if you place a bet with either Bet365 or BetVictor on the Grand National but your horse doesn’t end up running the race, for whatever reason, your bet will be cancelled and your stake will be returned to you in full.

This is another nice safety net as not all bookies will give you a 100% refund if your horse pulls out. It sucks big time to back a horse and lose money when it doesn’t even run.

Make sure you bet on the race with either BetVictor or Bet365 and you won’t have to worry about this problem at all thanks to the non runner no bet Grand National offer.

If there’s one promotion I thought it was worth posting about on the blog this week it’s the BetVictor Grand National 6 places on each way bets promo.

In fact the vast majority of betting sites are removing all their current promotions for the Grand National not adding new ones so BetVictor really are pulling out all the stops here.

Grand National 6 Places Promotion

It doesn’t take a genius to work out what the BetVictor each way promotion for the Grand National is but for anyone who hasn’t here’s how it works:

- Firstly you’ve got to click this link and open a BetVictor betting account.

- Once your account is open and you’ve stuck some money in there select the ‘Grand National 6 Places’ link in the menu on the left.

- From here you can place an each way bet on any horse in the race and if your horse finishes in the top 6 your bet will be a winner!

- It’s as simple as that!

Click this link to open a Betvictor account (or the link above) and get paid out on each way bets if your horse finishes in the top 6. All other bookmakers are offering top 5 only!

Note: Non runner no bet also in operation so if your horse pulls out your bet gets cancelled and you get your money back!

Promotion Terms and Conditions

Usually when you get any betting promotion you get some pretty heavy terms and conditions you’ve got to comply to in order to benefit. Well you’ll be pleased to know that the BetVictor Grand National each way promotion is as straight down the line as it comes.

- It applies to all each way bets placed on the Grand Nation from March 26th onwards.

- There is no maximum amount of bets you can place or maximum stake amount so you can back as many horses each way as you want.

- You’ll get paid out a 1/4 odds if your horse finishes in positions 6-1 and at full odds as well for the win part of your bet if your horse comes first.

- PLUS if any horse you’ve backed as part of the promotion pulls out of the race then BetVictor have a non runner no bet rule which means your bet will be cancelled and you’ll get your stake refunded in full!

Which Horse To Back Each Way?

Well granted its all well and good knowing about the Grand National 6 places each way promotion at BetVictor but which horses are going to get the job done on the day?

If you’re struggling to work out who to back each way for the 2013 John Smiths Grand National then you should definitely check out my 2013 Grand National each way tips post which can be accessed by clicking the previous link or visiting the tips section of the website using the link in the top nav bar.

The astute punters among you will realise that this offers plenty of opportunity for added value and as it’s not often you can get something for nothing out of your bookies it’s time to cash in.

This blog post is designed to be a list of the best 2013 Cheltenham Festival offers and promotions running between March 12th and 15th.

Quick Jump Links:

Use these links to jump to a promotion that takes your fancy:

- Double your Cheltenham bankroll instantly
- Free bet on next race if you back a 4/1 winner
- Money back on Supreme Novices Hurdle if you lose money on the race
- Money back on all bets if Hurricane Fly wins The Champion Hurdle
- 100% free mobile betting bonus for Cheltenham 2013

Top Cheltenham Offers, Promotions & Bonuses

There’s plenty to get through here so let’s dive straight in and take a look at where the best value is for the 2013 Cheltenham Festival:

Bet365 100% Deposit Bonus

This offer is available all year round so I’m cheating by including it in my list of Cheltenham offers, free bets and promotions but if you haven’t already cashed in on it then it’s the first thing you should consider.

Basically if you don’t have a Bet365 account you can sign up with them using this link and when you make your first deposit (as long as it’s between £10 and £200) they’ll instantly double the deposit amount. You’ve just doubled your festival betting bankroll in the click of a button!

To withdraw the bonus cash you only have to bet your deposit amount plus bonus amount three times over. So if you deposited £50 you’d get £50 free and have to make £300 worth of bets before the bonus cash was withdrawable. Given the festival is over 4 days and 25 races that should be no problem whatsoever.

- Click here to instantly double your 2013 Cheltenham betting bank at Bet365!

Channel 4/1 Free Bet Offer

This is by far and away the best 2013 Cheltenham free bet offer that’s available anywhere online this year. Plus it’s running at Bet365 so you can cash in on the above promotion and this one at the same time.

Bet365’s Channel 4/1 Offer states that if you back any single winner at 4/1 or greater and the race is shown live on Channel 4 then they’ll give you a free bet to the same stake as your first bet to use on the next race. This is a continuous offer meaning that if you back another winner you’ll get another free bet and so on and so on.

Given that Channel 4 will be showing all of the races from Cheltenham this offer is awesome. There’s plenty of opportunities to find winners priced 4/1 or higher at Cheltenham and if you can you’re getting a double whammy.

If you back a 4/1 winner at £50 you’ll return £250 in total plus get a £50 free bet on the next race – you can’t get better value than that.

- Use this link to sign up to Bet365 (get the 100% deposit bonus) and use the Channel 4/1 Free Bet offer!

*The above Cheltenham 2013 free bet offer is available to new and existing customers at Bet365.

Money Back If On Supreme Novices Hurdle If You Lose

BetVictor have come up with a cracking Cheltenham betting offer on the opening race of the festival this year.

Place any bet you like on the Supreme Novices Hurdle (races runs on Tuesday March 12th at 1:30pm) and if you lose money BetVictor will refund your loss up to a maximum of £50.

It’s simple, it’s effective and it literally means that you can’t lose!

- Click this link to bet 100% risk free on the Supreme Novices Hurdle at BetVictor

*Any new customers can also get a £25 free bet when they join!

Money Back If Hurricane Fly Wins The Champion Hurdle

This is one hell of an offer and it comes from those crazy Irish dudes over at Paddy Power.

It’s simple. If Hurricane Fly wins the 2013 Champion Hurdle then Paddy Power will refund all losing single bets placed on the race and the win part of all e/w bets.

The maximum they will refund to any one punter is £100 so get over to Paddy Power if you’re planning to back anything other than Hurricane Fly in The Champion Hurdle (races runs at 3:20pm on Tuesday 12th March).

Now is the time of the season when the people’s attention that is solely focused on the Premier League begin to look at the Championship league table, keen to see who will be promoted from the division into the Premier League.

While the first season in the Premier League can be a testing one for Championship clubs, in recent seasons newly promoted clubs have not fared too badly in their first term in the Premier League, and several, with Swansea City and Stoke City perhaps the most notable in recent seasons, have established themselves as permanent Premier League clubs.

So with some big clubs vying for promotion this term, there is a great deal of interest in who 2013 Championship winner betting and promotion betting as well which I’ll cover in a later article. I’m going to begin my look at the Championship winner betting market by assessing the contenders to win the league itself. In my eyes, there are only five viable candidates for this, which are as follows:

Bet On Cardiff City To Win Championship

I’ll kick off my 2013 Championship winner betting tips post with a look at the league leaders and massive favourites Cardiff City.

The Welsh club would dearly love to join their huge rivals Swansea City in the Premier League, and have recruited accordingly, with Craig Bellamy coming in to lead their challenge. However, Cardiff have not been reliant on standout performers, simply concentrating on being a very solid unit, with a tremendous defensive record, at home in particular. Despite criticism of the Malaysian ownership at the start of the season, particularly their decision to force the Bluebirds to start playing in red, there are few dissenting voices now, as Cardiff top the table with an eleven point gap to their nearest rivals.

Thus, Cardiff are the overwhelming favourites to win the division, but consequently getting any real value on them is rather difficult, with the best odds available 2/7 with William Hill.

However, it’s worth considering what sort of odds you can get on Manchester United in a very similar position in the Premier League. United are 12 points clear, and some bookies have them at 1/50. So 2/7 is actually pretty good odds for a team that would need to lose four matches on the trot at least to lose their top slot, and as Cardiff have lost only one at home all season, I actually think the 2/7 odds are pretty generous – but it’s just not worth a bet on Cardiff to win the Championship at those odds.

Bet On Leicester City To Win Championship

Leicester City’s Thai-led consortium have pumped money into the Midlands club and ensured that the Foxes are one of the clubs most fancied to gain promotion to the Premier League. On that basis, their current position of second and the promise of automatic promotion back to the Premier League, where they previously enjoyed such success under the stewardship of Martin O’ Neill, is an acceptable one. But with expectations high at the King Power Stadium, anything less than promotion will doubtless be considered failure.

The Foxes look to be the club most likely to launch a sustained challenge to Cardiff. Before losing 2-1 at Peterborough, Leicester had won five games on the bounce in the Championship to catapult themselves into the automatic promotion slots. Nonetheless, best odds of 5/1 with Coral for a team that is eleven points adrift, and that has a pretty poor away record, do not look particularly generous.

By way of comparison, Manchester City are priced in the region of 20/1 to win the Premiership in a similar spot. I cannot recommend backing them, but if you’re going to do so, now would be a good time, as Cardiff may possibly stumble a little as the finishing line draws closer, and the 5/1 odds may yet shorten. Personally I won’t bet on Leicester to win the Championship but I make take one of the options below.

Leicester are best priced at 4/6 with BetVictor to win the Championship without Cardiff and are best odds of 4/7 with William Hill to gain promotion – both those bets are more attractive than the 5/1 on them winning the Championship.

Bet On Hull City To Win The Championship

Hull have achieved promotion to the Premier League in recent memory, and have put together a good campaign this term. As they are currently tied on points with Leicester, best odds of 22/1 with Boylesports for them to win the division look pretty decent, and it counts in their favour that they have a good away record. But they’ve won only one of their last five games, and I can’t see them making the automatic slots, let alone winning the division.

Hull are best odds of 5/1 with BetVictor to win the division without Cardiff which considering their on the same points as Leicester in second place looks a very tempting price.

Hull are priced best at 21/10 with SkyBet for promotion to this season but given they could well end up in the playoffs I would leave that price well alone – I’d much rather take the 5/1 gamble on them finishing in 2nd place.

Bet On Watford To Win Championship

Watford are priced marginally more generously than Hull to win the 2013 Championship, having played a game more. They have been in decent form, but have two away games this week, after which it’s quite possible that they will be out of the hunt for the title completely.

They are completely un-backable even at their odds of 20-1. They are best odds of 5/1 with BetVictor to finish top without Cardiff and 3/1 with Ladbokes to gain promotion. I won’t bet on Watford to win the Championship, finish second or gain promotion at those prices.

Bet On Crystal Palace To Win The Championship

The final team worth looking at in my 2013 Championship winner betting tips article is Crystal Palace.

Palace begun the season very well, and have an excellent Championship operator at the helm in the shape of Ian Holloway. However, after a mini-surge under Holloway, they have won only one of their last five games, and thus are currently priced at 33/1 to win the Championship title which I can’t see happening.

Palace are however best odds of 7/2 with Paddy Power to gain promotion to the Premier League and given they could still nick second, currently only one point adrift, that’s not a bad price. They’ll make the playoffs at worst and they are the kind of team who could well excel in the uncompromising format of the playoffs.

I think Palace are worth a punt at 7/2 with Paddy Power to gain promotion to the Premier League.

The race for the Barclays Premier League has entered its final third so now seems like a good time to post up my Premier League 2013 winner betting tips. Manchester United are currently looking highly dominant at the top of the table. However, given the fact that United blew an eight point lead in just the last six games of last season, no-one at Old Trafford will be taking anything for granted yet.

The benefactors last season, of course, were Manchester City, and once again it is the two Manchester clubs battling it out to become the 2012 Premier League winner. While City haven’t touched the heights of last season, they remain an awesomely competitive side, with surely the strongest squad in the league on paper. If their performances in the league haven’t quite matched the depth of their squad, they nonetheless cannot be ruled out in the remainder of the season.

In the following article, I will be looking at the contenders for this year’s Premier League crown and current 2013 Premier League betting odds including a look at the winner without Man United or Man City market.

Click here to skip to my recommended bet – a solid 4/1 shot!

Bet on Manchester United to win the Premier League

United are, unsurprisingly, the overwhelming favourites in all Premier League 2012 winner betting markets. With a nine point gap at the top, and years of experience of winning the Premier League, it’s hard to see United slipping up again, as they did last season.

The form of Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie has meant that United have dropped only ten points in their last twenty four fixtures, so they are heavy favourites to win the 2013 Premier League and their 20th top flight crown.

On the other hand, defensively United have looked shaky at times, and the feeling persists that this could cost them at some point. Furthermore, they have European fixtures to contend with in the remainder of the season, and this could prove a distraction.

Nonetheless, the bookies make them heavy odds on favourites. In fact, the best odds on United regaining the Premier League crown are 1/8 with Coral, and it’s difficult to make a strong case for them not doing so.

At such short odds I just can’t justify backing United to win the league – even though they’ve got it sown up.

Bet on Man City to win the Premier League

However, if you’re not going to bet on Manchester United to win the Premier League in 2013, then now would be a good time to back City, as you probably won’t get such excellent odds as 7/1 against Manchester City in the remainder of the season. Particularly as United have a tricky period coming up with European fixtures swallowing up some of their resources, while City have no such concerns.

If City can remain in touch with United, and then defeat them at Old Trafford, as they emphatically did last season, then they have much the easier concluding batch of fixtures of the two clubs, and the pressure will be right back on United.

So now could be a good time to bet on Man City to win the Premier League in 2013 (if you’re a true optimist) and take the best odds of 6/1 with Betfred before it disappears – maybe you could use the free £50 bet you get when you open a new account with them if you really fancy a punt on this market, at least then it’s risk free.

Personally I won’t be backing them.

Bet on Chelsea to win the Premier League

Chelsea lead the Barclays Premier League earlier this season, but have fallen away badly, particularly after the sacking of Roberto di Matteo. There is much for any incoming Chelsea manager to work with in the Chelsea squad, and should they secure Jose Mourinho as manager for next season, then there is no doubt that with a couple of acquisitions that they would become a force to be reckoned with.

However, the chances of them winning this year’s league are remote, particularly given their recent form, and this is reflected in the bookies odds of 150/1. Right now you’d have to be mad to bet on Chelsea to win the 2013 Premier League.

I can’t tip them to have even the remotest chance of winning the league this time round. A Top 4 finish is the best they can hope for now.

Chelsea are priced 8/13 with Ladbrokes (best odds) to win the league in the without Man City or Man United market but I much prefer a bet on Spurs in this market as you’ll find out below.

Bet on Tottenham to win the Premiership

Andre Villas-Boas stated at the start of the season that Tottenham were title challengers, but they have never really launched much of a challenge this term. Spurs will concentrate on giving a good account of themselves in the Europa League and securing a Champions League place.

Even at best odds of 250/1, I consider them unbackable. You’d be better off waiting till next year to bet on Tottenham to win the Premiership and even then it’ll be a long shot.

However Coral currently have Tottenham at a massive 4/1 to win without Man United or Man City and that looks a belter of a price considering their only a whisker away from 3rd place.

I can’t resist a piece of Tottenham to finish top without United or City at 4/1 and it’s my recommended bet when it comes to the various Premier League winner betting markets available.

Bet on Arsenal to win the Premiership

The Gunners are expected to be near the summit of the Premier League, but currently sit in sixth place, and are nowhere near leaders Manchester United.

Again, they are completely unbackable in terms of winning the league. However, with the best price on Arsenal a generous 500/1, an in-form Gunners, with the likes of Wilshere and Walcott flying at the moment, might be worth a punt to finish top 4 but they’ve got no chance of taking the league title now.

I wouldn’t even back Arsenal in the without Man United or Man City market. They are currently best priced at 7/1 with BetVictor but I think third spot is reserved for Chelsea or Spurs.

In this post I’m going to cover the best sites for football accumulator betting which means where to get the best odds on football accumulators. I’m also taking a look at football accumulator strategy which you’ll find in the ‘How to with football accumulators’ section below.

The first and most important thing when placing any acca bet is to make sure that if the bet wins you’ll get the biggest possible payout available. Here’s how you can guarantee that will happen every single time you place a football accumulator online.

Best Odds on Football Accumulators

Usually with most betting markets, you can head off to an odds comparison site, click on the market you are most interested in betting on and see what the best-priced odds are for it.

With accumulators, it is more difficult as you have multiple matches in your bet. However if you bet with my recommended best site for accumulator betting,
Bet365, then you don’t need to worry about getting the best odds on your football accumulators.

Without doubt, the best place to get the best odds on football accumulators is Bet365, here’s why:

Bet365 run a promotion called ‘Euro Soccer Accumulator Bonus’ which offers the chance to increase the payout of any winning football acca, depending on the size of the number of selections in the bet.

It applies to accumulators placed on the Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, and even Champions League (you can mix and match competitions if you want). Check out the table on the right for a full list of the bonuses available on your bets.

Quite simply, regardless of the odds on offer for individual matches, the fact that Bet365’s offer has this bonus means that betting with them is the only sensible choice for punters who want to maximise their potential winnings with this bet type. You’ll get the best odds on football accumulators with Bet365 every single time.

Click here to visit Bet365 and get bonuses on all your winning accumulator bets!

How To Win With Football Accumulators

So I’ve covered where to place football accas for best odds and payouts. Now I’ll take a look at how to win with football accumulators or football accumulator strategy if you prefer.

I’m not suggesting that using the tips below will help you win every time but they’ll certainly help you win more than you are right now if you employ them correctly.

Football Accumulator Strategy

1) Smaller numbers of selections may have less reward, but more chance of success.

– Remember, just because there are 40 games available for this weeks acca, doesn’t mean you have to bet on them all. The more individual selections you make on an acca, the more things can (and will) go wrong. You can maximise your chances of success by sticking to smaller accas involving two, three or four selections. The payout’s may not be quite as big, but they are likely to be more frequent.

If you combine this acca strategy with the one below then you’ll still get a high payout for just a small bet.

2) Use draws wisely to boost the overall odds of your bet.

When making an acca bet, draws between teams can really help boost the winnings you would receive from your bet. The odds on draws tend to be better than home wins and in some cases away victories too. Prudent use of backing draws can really boost an accumulator’s potential returns.

Try adding just one draw to your accumulator this weekend and take a look at the payout go through the roof. It’s a solid strategy and one that many accumulator punters ignore in favour of the win market.

3) Form guides are very important.

- When making your selections, you should consider the form of the two sides playing. Pay particular attention to their home or away form, especially over the last few months and also look at the historic record between the teams. Finally check out the team website for any latest injury news as a key player missing can drastically influence how effective a team plays.

Don’t be tempted just to go on league position. A lower league side in good form will have a good chance against a top half side who have lost several matches in a row. Incorporate this into your football accumulator strategy and you will certainly win more often.

4) Use Bet365 to place all your acca bets.

I know I already mentioned it but you really do need to place your acca bets with Bet365 – they are the best site for accumulator betting by a mile. Every time you win you’ll win bigger at Bet365 which means you’ll need to win less often to stay in profit over the long run.

You’ll not beat their Euro Soccer Accumulator Bonus offer and therefore they have the best odds available anywhere online for football accumulators so if you don’t have a Bet365 account click here to open one now!

Different Types of Football Accas

Although most punters prefer accumulators to be from the same kind of event, such as predicting whether football teams will win, lose or draw, you can actually place almost any kind of bet on an accumulator.

For example, this weekend you could put on your acca Manchester United to win, Everton to lose, your favourite boxer to win their fight and your favourite horse to win the 3.10 at Kempton. The only limit to acca bets is only your imagination, so remember to seek value in other markets.

Both Teams To Score Accumulators

Lastly, one popular acca bet worth considering now is the Both Teams to Score acca. BetFred in particular have promoted this strongly as part of their “Goals Galore” promotion (check out our separate article on Where To Bet on Both Teams To Score) and if you prefer to back both teams scoring, rather than an outright result, this may be a wise choice for you.

As the name of the bet suggests, a correct score bet is simply a wager on what the final score of any given football match will be. In this post I plan to cover the best betting sites for correct score betting along with how to win betting on the correct score of football matches more often.

It can be pretty difficult to predict the correct score of any given football fixture but there are things you can do to improve your strike rate and win more often than you are at the moment. The first you need to do is sort out where you’re placing your bets and move to the correct score betting site I suggest below.

Best Betting Sites for Correct Score Betting

When it comes down to the best betting sites for correct score betting you’ve got a wealth of options but there’s one bookmaker who I use every single time and that bookie is Bet365.

Bet365 offer a “Bore Draw Promotion” for all soccer matches on their site. The promotion allows punters to have a bet on any scoreline in the correct score market (before the game starts) and if the match they have a wager on finishes in a goalless draw, then Bet365 will refund their losing bet money as a free bet.

To check out the latest games which have been refunded at Bet365 click this link -> scroll down to the foot of the page -> in Promotions select current offers -> Soccer -> Bore Draw

This may seem like a small matter, but when you view the number of scoreless games, particularly across different leagues, this can prove to be a huge bonus especially if you select potentially low scoring fixtures for your correct score bets.

Correct Score 0-0 Stats

In the top divisions of England and Italy for example, 8.4% of matches end in a 0-0 draw, yet in France, this figure rises to 12%, while in the Dutch Eredivisie, it falls to 6%.

This means that for every bet you make at Bet365, in addition to your selected scoreline earning you a nice payday, you have the added insurance of a 6-12% chance of receiving your money back. Just by moving to Bet365 you’ll get your money back on these bets on average about 8% of the time – it makes total sense.

You can also vastly improve the percentage chance of returning your cash by making correct score bets in matches which you feel will be 1-0 or 1-1 type games (Stoke City are an awesome team to look out for if you fancy this type of wager).

Click here to check out the latest correct score odds at Bet365 and use their Bore Draw promo to your advantage.

How to Win Betting on the Correct Score of Football Matches

Now you know my best betting site for correct score betting lets move on to how to win betting on the correct score of football matches. It’s not an exhaustive guide below but it should give you an idea of how you can up your strike rate with this bet type.

Select the most common results – Statistics show that the average football match has around 2.6 goals in it. As such selecting scores that adhere to this principle means that statistically you have more chance of a winning correct score bet.

Weight the home team in favour of the away – Home teams tend to outscore away teams by an average of around a goal per game, as such when selecting a score remember to give the home team a slight advantage. Of course, use common sense too, especially in cup matches where the away team may be markedly better than the home, but if you are deciding on a 2-1 or 1-2 scoreline, remember in most cases, statistically the home team tends to win the game.

Don’t just rely on statistics – The beauty of football is that for all the statistics and analysis, there is always the chance that any game can completely be out of character. As such, use your knowledge of football too to help inform your bet. Check the form of each of the teams involved in the game, how many goals do the score and concede on average at home, or away from home. Do they have any players returning from injury who may help improve the team, or do they have players injured, suspended or otherwise not playing who may impact on the teams overall effectiveness?

Check the history of the fixture – If you are serious about correct score betting strategy then you need to check the history of the fixture you’re betting on – this applies mainly to league fixtures. Historically some matches tend to be more high scoring affairs than others are. Remember though, current form is generally a better indicator for a correct score prediction than historical matches, but history is useful for providing a long-term context for the bet.

What is the context of the game? – The context of the game can massively influence how each of the teams competing approach the game. If, for example, you are betting on the second leg of a European tie where one team needs to win the game by several goals, this will radically impact how they approach the game and could well lead to more goalscoring chances for both teams. Try and get inside the head of the manager to decide how the teams are likely to approach this game.

Use the best betting sites for correct score bets – As I mentioned before just by placing all your prematch correct score bets with Bet365 you can get your stake back about 8% of the time for free thanks to their Bore Draw promotion which applies to all matches and refunds all bets on games which finish 0-0 – click here to visit Bet365 now and bet with 0-0 insurance.

Alternative Correct Score Bets

There are a couple of other correct score bets that are popular with punters.

Half Time Correct Score

One is the half time correct score bet, which as the name suggests, is when a punter backs a scoreline that they feel will be reflected at half time. Obviously, this bet offers less scope for the higher scores (few games are 3-3 before the interval and a large proportion may have no, or just one goal.

Half Time/Full Time Correct Score

The Half Time/Full Time Correct Score bet is in effect a double, where the punter backs what the score will be at half time and then doubles that with the full time score. These bets are very difficult to predict however and offer relatively little chance of success, however they do certainly offer the best odds available in the market with even wagers of 0-0 half time, 1-0 full time paying out at excellent odds.

Both halt time and half time/full time correct score bets are available at Bet365 – click here to check out the odds on the latest matches.

In what is now the fourth blog post in this series I’m going to cover where to bet on both teams to score to get the best possible value (see bottom of post for rest of series).

Both teams to score betting (or btts betting if you prefer), as the name implies, is a bet upon which the punter can wager on whether both teams will score in the game, or not.

Statistically, there are on average between two and three goals in the average football game and both teams, as in the case of a 1-1 draw or a 2-1 victory, will often share the goals. The sheer number of these games in which both teams scores means that this can be an appealing bet, even if pinpointing which games will see both teams score can be tricky.

I’m going to kick this post off with a look at where to bet on both teams to score to get the best value possible – this includes btts accumulators as well as singles.

Where To Bet Both Teams To Score?

Most bookmakers offer markets for both teams to score, but there are some that are extensively pushing this market in particular. One of the most obvious and well-known instances is Betfred, who have been pushing their “Goals Galore” promotion for some time.

Betfred Goals Galore Promotion

The Betfred promotion is based on the both teams to score market but is an accumulator bet, rather than a single selection. Punters select a minimum of three matches from a one of three pre-selected groups of matches. The more games they select for their bet that see both teams score, the better odds they receive for the win.

There are three coupons, the basic Goals Galore coupon, which pays out from odds of 7/2 for 3 correct predictions, to 1500/1 for 15 correct predicts, the Goals Galore Bonus coupon, which pays at enhanced odds of 9/2 for 3 correct predictions, to 5000/1 for 15 correct. Lastly, Betfred offer the Goals Galore Super Six coupon that is a list of just six games, but this pays out at better odds of 6/1 for three correct selections, up to 50/1 for all six games seeing both teams score.

The prices above are all enchanced odds prices meaning that if you made the same bet with another online bookmaker you’d be getting lower odds and a smaller payout – click here to visit Betfred and check out their Goals Galore promotion.

*If you sign up for a new Betfred account there’s also a £50 free bet for new punters

Single Btts Bets

If you would prefer to bet on the both teams to score market, but don’t want to place an accumulator or perhaps want to bet the NO side of the btts bet then the best odds available on individual matches are with both Bet365 and BetVictor.

How To Win Betting On Both Teams To Score?

So now you know where to bet on both teams to score for the best odds, here’s how to win betting on both teams to score.

You may feel that such is the nature of football that this bet is really down to chance, but there is plenty of useful information you can find from reliable sources, such as the BBC Sport website, Bet365 stats, or official club pages, that can help inform your selections and make you a much more successful punter on this market. A little research can really inform your selections and swing the odds more in your favour. It is worth checking out:

1) The number of goals each team scores and concedes both at home and away, especially over matches that have been played over the last few weeks.

2) Whether any players that can readily influence one teams likelihood of scoring a goal, or conceding a goal, are playing or not. For example, if a team is missing a key striker who scores most of their goals, they may well struggle to find the net as readily.

3) The situation of the teams participating; a good example of this are two-legged cup matches where one team needs to win the game. This can have an impact on how teams are likely to play and thus affect the chances of both teams scoring.

4) Historic data – It is also sensible to check the historic data of games, if there is any available. Some games have a historic tendency for both sides to score far more than other match ups.

5) Recent form – A team’s confidence can directly affect their ability in front of goal, or in defending. A team with excellent form can be relied upon to score, but also may be tough defensively too meaning it is less likely that the opposition will score.

6) Team announcement & tactics – If you are prepared to make your bet at the last minute, you can gleam further information about how a team is likely to play from the team selection and the predicted formation. A manager, who picks five defenders and only one attacker, may well be restricting his team’s chances of scoring a goal, while increasing his team’s likelihood of keeping the opposition out!

To best help you prepare your bet, bookmark the key websites you use for this key information so that you have the data to hand immediately each time you are considering a bet.

If anyone asks me how to win betting on both teams to score I always tell them it’s all about research!

Both Teams to Score Accumulators

A large number of punters are eschewing traditional accumulators of predicting a team to win, lose or draw in favour of both teams to score accas.

As I’ve mentioned previously, promotions like Betfred’s Goals Galore offers punters excellent value. They are simple to access and understand and offer clear incentives for users with a clearly defined objective that is attractive to punters, especially when viewing the statistics surrounding both teams scoring goals.

Another positive aspect is that a punter can decide how many games to select for their accumulator, provided it is more than three selections, meaning they can decide how many games to select as well as controlling how much they choose to wager on the bet.

It is of course possible to make up your own both teams to score accumulator at another online betting site, but you won’t get as good odds as you would with the Goals Galore promo. That said Goals Galore only deals with the yes side of the bet, if you want to bet no then check the odds at Bet365 and BetVictor to get the best price.
