Ownership Information

The UK’s largest online bookmaker for a number of years, Betfair was subject to a merger-cum-takeover in 2015. The British based company merged with Irish bookmaker Paddy Power in a transaction which was structured as a takeover of Betfair by the Irish company. The larger entity, therefore, is now called Paddy Power Betfair.
