Which countries are legal and illegal at Unibet?

Legal or Illegal? It is not always easy to determine exactly which countries different bookmakers welcome customers from. The various companies, after all, tend to place the onus upon punters themselves to determine the legality of using their services and Unibet are no different.

Within their terms and conditions they stipulate that by signing up to their service each individual customer…

…warrants and represents not to use the services if it is illegal in his/her country of residence.

More helpfully, however, Unibet do provide a list of countries from which they definitively do not accept customers. This is Unibet’s list of restricted countries:

  • Afghanistan
  • Australia
  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • Ethiopia
  • France (all territories)
  • Hong Kong
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Italy
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • North Korea
  • Pakistan
  • Philippines
  • Spain
  • Syria
  • Turkey
  • USA (all territories)
  • Yemen

As things stand, therefore, if you are resident in any of the above nations you are currently not allowed to become a Unibet customer. Once again, however, things are always subject to change and it is worth keeping an eye on Unibet’s list of restricted territories found within their terms and conditions.

Currencies Accepted: Unibet

If your home country is one from which Unibet accepts customers, your next question is likely to be whether the bookmaker allows for use of your favoured currency. Unibet do, in fact, cater for a number of different major currencies and they are listed in full below:

  • Brazilian Reals (BRL)
  • Bulgarian Lev (BGN)
  • Canadian Dollar (CAD)
  • Croatian Kuna (HRK)
  • Czech Koruna (CZX)
  • Danish Kroner (DKK)
  • Euros (EUR)
  • Hungarian Forint (HUF)
  • Norwegian Kroner (NOK)
  • Polish Zlotys (PLN)
  • Romanian Leu (RON)
  • Swedish Kronor (SKK)
  • Swiss Francs (CHF)
  • United Kingdom Pounds (GBP)
  • United States Dollars (USD)

What the above list reveals is that Unibet allow for the use of an impressive array of different currencies and that, therefore, if your country is one from which it is legal to access the bookmaker’s service you are likely to be able to find a currency to your liking.

Bonus Restrictions

Bonus RestrictionsHaving covered both the legality of accessing Unibet and which currencies the bookmaker cater far, what’s left to discuss is whether – and how strictly – the company restrict their offers and promotions according to a punter’s nationality.

This Unibet bonus code is restricted to only customers from the UK… BUT many other bonus offers do exist for other nations.

There’s only one way to check that out for yourself and that’s to click our automated redirect link below to reveal the bonus you can claim (if one is available in your nation).
