Vikings And Browns Set For NFL London Showdown

Just a week after the Minnesota Vikings were narrowly defeated 24-21 at Croke Park, Dublin by the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Viking longboat crosses the Irish Sea and sets sail for London. This weekend the Vikes play their second international series game against the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and it promises to be a cracker between two of the NFL’s top defenses.

Furthermore the NFL also plans to expand into Asia following these new additions to the International Series list from 2026.
Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns – Preview
The Minnesota Vikings (2-2) face off against the Cleveland Browns (1-3) in Sunday’s NFL showpiece at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The Vikings were beaten last week in Dublin, losing a narrow game 24-21 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Similarly, the Cleveland Browns went down to defeat, losing heavily 34-10 to the Detroit Lions.
With two games in the UK and Ireland in a week, the Vikings have remained in the UK following their loss to the Steelers to prepare for this weekend’s game and they will be hoping their offense can fire especially facing Myles Garrett and the excellent Browns defense.
However, the Browns offense has a similar problem with Joe Flacco and company set to face a relentless Minnesota Viking defense that has been amongst the best in the NFL for several years now.
Offense has been problematic for both teams at times this season, especially for the Browns. The Vikings have been more threatening in terms of scoring and it is because of this that they will likely start this game as the favourites to land the win.
Player to Watch – Offense – Justin Jefferson (WR) Minnesota Vikings
Along with Ja’Mar Chase, Justin Jefferson is one of the best WR’s in the NFL right now, if not THE best. He combined athleticism with unbelievable co-ordination to make difficult catches look routine. If the Vikings are to win then it is a good bet Jefferson will be at the forefront of their offensive efforts.
Player to Watch – Defense – Myles Garrett (EDGE) Cleveland Browns
One way to stop the Vikings offense is to give the QB limited time to make his decision and this is where Myles Garrett comes in. Arguably the best footballer in the NFL right now, Garrett is a one-man rushing phenomenon. A sack-machine who can disrupt any offense with his pace, power and game smarts.
Our Prediction – Minnesota Vikings 31-23 Cleveland Browns
This will be a closer call than most people are expecting but the Vikings should win it.
