Las Vegas Strip at night

With just three races of the current Formula 1 season remaining, the first of these takes place this coming weekend in the famous City of Sin, Las Vegas. Featuring the famous Las Vegas strip, this spectacular night-time race is an exciting and recent addition to the new F1 calendar.

There is also plenty at stake after a dramatic Brazilian Grand Prix at the start of November which may have finally decided the outcome of what has been an exciting Driver’s Championship race.

However, it is still all to play for in the Constructors Championship as the latest top three standings reveal.

F1 Drivers’ Championship Standings

  1. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) – 393 points
  2. Lando Norris (McLaren) – 331 points
  3. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) – 307 points

F1 Constructors’ Championship Standings

  1. McLaren – 593 points
  2. Ferrari – 557 points
  3. Red Bull – 544 points

Previous Race Review – Brazil

Max Verstappen took a huge step towards another F1 Drivers World Title in Brazil as he improved from 17th on the grid, to win the rain-soaked Brazilian Grand Prix in style. Even better news for Verstappen was that his main rivals for the title, Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and Lando Norris of McLaren both faltered, finishing fifth and sixth respectively.

Instead it was the two Alpine Renault’s who finished on the podium behind Verstappen, with Esteban Ocon second and Pierre Gasly third.

That win means Verstappen can win the Driver’s Championship in Las Vegas should he finish ahead of Lando Norris in the race. However, he will also win the title if Lando Norris does not score three points more than him in the race.

However, the battle is very much on in the constructor’s race with McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull all in with a chance of taking the coveted team trophy. With a 1-2 in a race seeing a team earn 43 points, there’s still plenty of points to be won over the final races, starting here in Vegas at the weekend.

The Vegas Strip Circuit

First held in 2023, the Vegas Strip Circuit is home to the Vegas Grand Prix. The 3.853 miles circuit is a street circuit that incorporates a significant part of the famous Las Vegas Strip as a key part of the 50-lap race.

Max Verstappen won the race in its first year in 2023. It features 17 corners, as well as a number of other straight sections, as well as the 1.2 mile section down the Vegas Strip. It is the final of three races held in the United States in the F1 season with the Miami and United States Grand Prix having already been contested.

Latest Betting Odds for the Vegas Grand Prix

Bet365 Sport has Lando Norris and Max Verstappen both 1.36 to finish on the podium, with Charles Leclerc 1.44. The street circuit is expected to favour the quicker teams and it seems likely that the Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren drivers will dominate this race.

Expect Norris to push hard but in the end, we expect Max Verstappen to clinch the win and with it his fourth consecutive F1 World Drivers Championship title.
