Who Will Reach the 2023 Rugby World Cup Semi-Finals?

The pool stages of the 2023 Rugby World Cup are over and the quarter finals are being played on October 14 and 15. Just who is going to make it into the last four of this exciting tournament?
Top Four Meet
The draw for the 2023 Rugby World Cup was made three years ago, a big mistake. As a result it’s only possible for two of the top four teams in the rankings to reach the last eight.
New Zealand take on Ireland on October 14 in what should be an absolute cracker. Ireland are 3/1 at bet365 to lift the trophy and 8/11 to defeat the All Blacks. Doing so will take Ireland into their first ever Rugby World Cup semi-final. They beat both South Africa and Scotland in the pool stages and are yet to lose this year.
New Zealand lost their opening game to France but then scored 240 points in three games. They are 7/2 at William Hill to become world champions and are the last team to beat Ireland. It’s 23/20 with the same bookies that they do so again this weekend but Ireland are our tips.
Home Advantage a Key?
France are the host nation and 3/1 at BetVictor to win their first world title. All their matches have so far been won and now on October 15 Les Bleus take on the defending world champions South Africa. Their captain Francoise Dupont is back in training and his presence will be a big boost. BetVictor have them at 8/11 to beat South Africa.
The Springboks have already lost to Ireland and you can get 7/2 at bet365 on them retaining the trophy and 5/4 to beat France but we believe it’s France who’ll win.
For the other two less glamorous quarter finals, we go for England to beat Fiji (2/5 at William Hill) on October 14 and Wales (4/7 with William Hill) to defeat Argentina on the 15th.
