Who Will Win the 2023-24 Europa League?

We look set for an exciting 2023-24 Europa League. Plenty of good clubs have qualified but just who will win the trophy?

For English clubs, there are two (Brighton and West Ham) who are delighted to be playing and one (Liverpool) who would much rather be in the Champions League.

The Reds are the 7/2 favorites at bet365 to lift the trophy. They have started the new season well and have strengthened their squad. 7/2 isn’t a great price but take it now as it’s likely to shorten after receiving a straightforward draw in the group stages.

Seagulls across Europe

Brighton and Hove Albion are over the moon at playing in Europe for the first time. They are 14/1 at BetVictor to win the Europa League. The Seagulls have a tough group to get through with Marseille and Ajax to face. Their lack of European experience may well go against them, especially on the road.

West Ham United finished in the bottom half of the Premier League last season but won the Europa Conference League. Losing Declan Rice hasn’t hurt them and odds of 20/1 at William Hill look a good each-way bet.

Spanish success?

Villarreal have a good record in Europe and won the Europa League three years ago. The following season saw them reach the last four of the Champions League. Odds of 16/1 at bet365 certainly look an attractive bet to place.

Bayer Leverkusen are another club to look out for this season and are 20/1 with BetVictor. Another for the shortlist is Sporting Lisbon, who knocked Arsenal out last season. They can be backed at odds of 25/1 at bet365. Sporting are also 11/8 to win Group C which looks a good price.

Liverpool are the favorites and have the experience to win the Europa League. Villarreal can’t be ruled out though and they are our each-way tip to win this trophy.
