How To Release Bonus

A punter resident in the UK who is opening a Unibet account for the first time is eligible for the bookmaker’s new customer promotion. In order to take part, a customer must register their new account and then opt-in to the promotion when prompted.

They must then make an initial deposit worth at least £10 and place a sportsbook bet at odds of 1.40 or higher. If this bet loses you’ll trigger the bonus refund (up to a max of £40).

Your £10 casino bonus is automatically triggered as soon as you’ve made that first deposit.

How To Withdraw

The refunded stake of a customer’s first Unibet sports bet is credited to their account in the form of bonus money after their first bet is settled as a losing one. That bonus money is not withdrawable but can be used to place further sportsbook bets.

Before any withdrawals are subsequent possible, however, a punter must have bet an amount equal to at least three times their bonus amount. If they receive the full £40 bonus amount, therefore, they will need to have placed £120 worth of bets before they can make a withdrawal.

Those wagering requirements must be completed within 60 days of the bonus money being credited and only bets at odds of 1.4 or higher count towards the requirements.

The casino bonus has a 35x wagering requirement, with a 30 day time limit, meaning £350 in casino wagers must be placed to benefit.

Full terms and conditions can be found on the Unibet website.

Key Features of the Unibet Mobile App

FeaturesOne of the best features of the Unibet Sports app is the access that it gives punters to a wide range of sports betting markets via their phone, tablet or mobile device, regardless of where they are. All you need is a connection and your chosen device and you have a plethora of betting markets available at your fingertips including horseracing, football, tennis, golf, rugby and many more.

Other key features of the app include:

  • The simple overall navigation of the Unibet app makes easy to make your way around the available markets and other features.
  • A comprehensive in-play betting section is easily accessible and gives punters the chance to bet on a wide range of events as they happen.
  • The search feature included at the head of the app’s main page, allows punters to locate a chosen sport, event or specific bet in no time.
  • Profit boosts, special promotions and other bonuses are regularly available, with a selection of them always displayed on the app’s home page.
  • Unibet’s live streaming service allows punters to watch action from a wide array of different sports and features over 10,000 streams each year. Licence & Company Info

LicenseUnibet is one of 13 separate online gambling brands owned by the Kindred Group, which also include the likes of Stan James and 32 Red. The Kindred Group was initially founded back in 1997 by Anders Strom and the first Unibet branded website was launched two years later in 1999. Today, it is estimated that Unibet have over 9.5 million total customers, spread across fully 100 different countries.

Whilst the Kindred Group is an originally Scandinavian company, Unibet’s headquarters are found in Malta and the company have a registered office in Gibraltar. They are, therefore, licensed and regulated by the government of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner. As is required by law, however, in order to serve punters in the UK Unibet are also licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission.

What Users Think?!

User ReviewsThe Unibet app has been available to download through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store for a little while now. What that means is that there are a good number of user reviews posted on those platforms, which can offer an excellent insight into what real Unibet customers think of the bookmaker’s mobile offering.

Looking first at the overall star ratings awarded to the app, it has achieved an average rating of close to three out of five stars on the Play Store and a little over three out of five stars on the App Store.

Whilst those are not at the same level as the ratings enjoyed by the absolute best mobile betting apps, they are certainly not terrible. When you look at the content of the reviews submitted by users, however, a common theme and complaint does seem to appear. That is that the app is, for some punters, frustratingly slow and unresponsive and thus does not deliver a satisfactory user experience in spite of its impressive features.

What We Think?!

Cheeky Punter ReviewIn common with the majority of punters who have reviewed the Unibet app through the Play Store and the App Store, we have given it a somewhat middle of the road rating of three stars out of five.

That means that whilst it is a perfectly good mobile offering which many punters are sure to enjoy using, it is just not quite as good as the very best mobile apps offered by some other major bookmakers.

The app is well-designed and attractive to look at, as well as having a number of features to aid easy navigation. Those features include the handy search bar toward the top of the main page, which is a simple yet really useful addition. What’s more, the app also features an excellent selection of available betting markets which include a great array of in-play options included within the dedicated in-play section.

A final, notable beneficial feature of the Unibet app is the excellent Unibet live streaming service which is just as readily available to mobile users as it is to punters betting through the bookmaker’s desktop site. Overall, however, the Unibet app’s operation is a little slow and unresponsive, and the company’s new customer promotion is also one of the least inspiring around.

Is the Unibet Android App Different to their iOS App?

The Unibet Android app and the bookmaker’s iOS app are obviously different in that they are designed and optimised to run on devices with different operating systems. That means that certain elements and cosmetic features of each app will differ slightly. In terms of the betting features and general functionality of the two apps, however, there is very little difference.

Can I Get Blackberry App?

If you have a Blackberry as opposed to an Android or iOS operated device, you unfortunately cannot download a version of the Unibet app specifically for your phone or tablet. What you can do, however, is utilise Unibet’s mobile website which provides an almost identical service to that offered by the two downloadable apps. That website can be accessed via any device’s web browser, simply by entering unibet.co.uk into the address bar.

Can I Get a Windows Mobile App?

Just like a Blackberry user, if you have Windows Mobile operated device you will also not be able to download a Unibet mobile app. The Unibet mobile site, however, once again gives you the opportunity to bet on the move with the bookmaker without the need for a download. If you wish to use the site, simply head to unibet.co.uk through your device’s web browser.

How Do I Deposit Funds?

Depositing funds to your Unibet account is just as easy via the mobile app as it is through the bookmaker’s desktop site. In order to do so, all you need to do is to open the account menu from the main page of the app, select the ‘deposit’ option and then follow the on-screen instructions. Some payment methods may require you to set them up via the desktop site before they are available via the app.

How Can I Self-Exclude?

If you feel you are betting more than is sensible or responsible, it is possible to self-exclude from the Unibet app. To do so, you need to select the self-exclusion options from the main ‘My Account’ menu. You will then be able to select a term of self-exclusion, read the terms and conditions of self-exclusion and confirm whether you do indeed wish to go ahead and self-exclude.

Which Languages are Available?

Unibet is one of the most accommodating mobile apps when it comes to the availability of different languages. Simply scroll down to the bottom of any page within the app and you will find a ‘Choose Your Country’ option. Tapping that link opens up a menu featuring a huge variety of different nations and selecting one will alter the language of the app to best suit that country.

How Secure is the App?

Whilst Unibet are one of the newer online bookmakers to the UK market, they are still a major and a trusted betting provider. As such, their services across all platforms are as safe and secure as it is possible to make them. Measure which Unibet employ to ensure this include Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption and an Intrusion Detection System which monitors all network traffic 24/7 for signs of attacks or intrusion.
