MotoGP Betting Reviews

Perhaps better served than some similar minority sports, the above table ably show that punters have a good deal of alternatives when it comes to betting on MotoGP. To help you choose the site that’s right for you, therefore, we’ve shortlisted what we believe to be the best three options.

#1 for Moto GP – Betvictor

BetvictorA site that certainly won’t disappoint MotoGP fans looking to have a punt on their favourite sport, Betvictor include the sport within their site’s dedicated ‘Motorcycling’ section, along with the likes of British Superbikes and other similar sports.

Punters who do head to that part of the Betvictor site will find that the bookmaker offer betting opportunities for all MotoGP races as the season progresses, as well as allowing customers to bet on the outright World Championship.

Popping a bet of any kind on a MotoGP rider couldn’t be quicker or easier, thanks to the outstandingly user friendly nature of the Betvictor site, the bookmaker come ahead of their rivals as their range of markets for each race is a the widest.

William HillAnother traditionally well-liked and trusted bookmaker who offer an excellent overall betting service, William Hill will not disappoint those punters looking for a place to bet on MotoGP.

Just like Betvictor, William Hill price up markets for every MotoGP race as the season wears on and the bookmaker particularly impresses when it comes to the odds they offer for riders in those races.

Outright markets for the World Championship are also well catered for by William Hill but come race day their selection of markets is a little less varied than Betvictor.

#3 for MotoGP – Coral

CoralTaking the chequered flag third in the race to be our top rated MotoGP betting site, Coral is a great destination for any fan of the high octane sport who may want to pop a bet on and make a race even more exciting.

The globally trusted and reliable bookmaker price up each and every MotoGP race throughout the season and also run outright markets for both the MotoGP and the Moto2 World Championships. When it comes to each individual race, Coral typically offer at the least the option of betting on both the race winner and the fastest qualifier, and also sometimes introduce additional markets such as podium finish and fastest lap.

On the day of a MotoGP race, what’s more, the betting action doesn’t have to stop for Coral punters when the action on the track starts. MotoGP markets from Coral, after all, are amongst the thousands that the bookmaker routinely take in-play.

MotoGP Bets FAQ

As is the case with a lot of the less mainstream sports, the number of different markets provided – even by the very best bookmakers – for MotoGP is a little limited. There are, however, a handful of different types of bet which would be MotoGP punters will often be able to choose from. We’ve put together a list of those bet types below, along with brief explanations of exactly what they are.

Race Winner – The most widely available type of MotoGP bet, race winner wagers are also the simplest. They are, after all, simply bets on which rider you think will cross the finish line first and can be either straightforward ‘to win’ bets or ‘each-way’ wagers. The each-way terms offered will differ from one bookmaker to another but are often something like 1/5 the odds for the top three places.

Podium Finish – Similar to each-way race winner bets, podium finish wagers will also payout if and when a chosen rider finishes a race in the top three. These bets differ, however, in that you will receive the same payout if your selection finished second or third as if they finish first. Due to that, odds for podium finish bets are always shorter than those available for the race winner market.

Fastest Qualifier – Less commonly available than the other two types of MotoGP bets, some bookmakers (most notably Betvictor) do also offer a fastest qualifier market for each race throughout the MotoGP season. As the name of the market suggests, these are bets where a punter selects the rider who they believe will be the fastest qualifier for a race and – as with race winner bets – each-way terms are also sometimes available.
