Let’s take a closer look at the details of this promotion. Bet365 offer a wide range of player related markets on football matches and almost all apply for the guarantee. Here’s an example of just some of the markets on offer; First / Last or Anytime Goalscorer, To score 2 or more, Scorecast, Wincast, Team First Scorer, First Player Booked, Player to be Booked, Player to be Red Carded, Player to Win Man of the Match.
If you place a bet on these markets before the match kicks off and the player is substituted before the half-time whistle then bet365 will credit your stake back as a free bet to your account.
Just remember the guarantee applies to the players subbed before the half-time whistle – not those players subbed during half time.

- Eligible matches for the promotion include any football match that bet365 are offering betting on
- Qualifying bets for this promotion include: First Score, Last Scorer, Anytime Scorer, To Score Two / Hat Trick or more, Scorecast, Wincast, TimeCast, Bookings & Sending Off, Man of the Match
- A bet must still be undecided when the player is substituted. As an example, if you have backed a first scorer, another player scores and then your player is subbed, it would be a losing bet and not eligible for the promotion
- Bet365 will refund all losing bets for eligible bets in qualifying markets as a Bet Credit
- If a punter cashes out their bet either partially or fully then the promotion will not apply
- If a punter places a bet using a Bet Builder and one of the legs is a qualifying bet for this promotion then the substitute guarantee will apply if triggered. In this scenario bet365 will void the bet and return the stake
- This guarantee cannot be used in conjunction with any other bet365 promotions such as Bore Draw Guarantee. In the case that both were eligible and triggered then the Bore Draw Guarantee will take precedence over the Substitute Guarantee
- If a punter uses the bet365 Edit Bet functionality to adjust their bet before kick off then the promotion will apply to the new stake. If the bet is edited to remove a player who is subbed then the guarantee will not apply
- Bet Credits are non transferable and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Any winning bets placed using Bet Credits will not include the Bet Credit in your winnings
- If your account is inactive for 90 days bet365 will remove any Bet Credits in your account
