Review of Dafabet
DafaBet is one of the newer betting providers, having previously been largely limited to serving the Asian market.
They were founded in 2004 and currently sponsor Celtic, Sussex Cricket Club and Durham Cricket Club in an attempt to raise their profile in the UK market.
In my opinion, DafaBet compare pretty well with the other new kids on the online gambling block but are not yet on the same level as major bookmakers.
If you take the whole package that a top bookie like Bet365 offers (markets, odds, bonus ect.) and compare it to Dafabet there’s little doubt Dafatbet fall well short.
The following Dafabet review will hopefully demonstrate why that is the case, by looking at the companies ownership and a number of the crucial elements of their service, including available markets, streaming (or lack of it) and in-play betting.
Pros & Cons of DafaBet
- Extensive options for customer support.

Review of DafaBet Website
Is DafaBet Easy To Use?
- No dedicated app
- Desktop site easier to use
- Not enough sports offered
- No eSports or Virtuals
DafaBet Mobile Review
Dafabet does not have dedicated mobile sports betting apps for any device, instead it has a site that has been optimised for mobile and which you can access from a mobile browser. Safari is best on iOS devices, while Chrome is best on Android devices.
In truth, there is miniscule difference between the mobile site and the standard website in terms of design, looks and the markets available. However, it is markedly easier to use the desktop version of the site simply because the screen is much larger and it is easier to read the fixtures and select your bets.
There is a Dafabet app available on the Apple app store, that does appear to be linked to the site, however this is an app about cricket and does not offer any sports betting at all.
As such, the Dafabet mobile offering is a little disappointing and underwhelming, especially when compared to some of its main competitors in the industry.
DafaBet Desktop Review
In terms of organisation, the Dafabet site is neat and tidy, but there are a number of shortcomings with the site that we do need to highlight.
Firstly, there is only a small number of sports offered, there are no esports betting markets or virtual sports offered and the odds offered on markets are generally, at best, middle of the road. Furthermore for each betting fixture, there are only a small number of the more common betting options available. 20-50 being typical while some other bookies offer over 100 and some of the best offer over 200 markets on a single fixture.
Another big disappointment is the in-play betting service which is extremely simplistic and does not have any live streaming, no stats available and there is no real depth to the offering. This compares poorly with the average providers for in-play betting, let alone the top providers.
We’d say Dafabet is a site that will suit a total novice to sports betting, but it is one that they will likely soon outgrow and one that they will discover doesn’t offer as much as the top sites do.
Obviously this take means that Dafabet review pooly vs their comptitors and we really struggle to recommened them – better services are widely available.

Markets & Odds at DafaBet
What sports can you bet on at DafaBet?
- 20+ sports
- No eSports or virtuals
- Very average odds/prices
- Poor markets per event
We’re getting down to the nitty gritty of our review now, so it stands to reason that we should take a look at the sports, events and markets which DafaBet allow punters to bet on. A fair selection of events with both pre-match and in-play markets are provided by the bookmaker across all of the following sports:
- American Football
- Aussie Rules
- Boxing / MMA
- GAA Football
- GAA Hurling
- Horse Racing
- Ice Hockey
Unless you’re a fan of betting on a very particular and quite small sport, you’re like to find punting options with DafaBet.
The bookmaker cover events and competitions from over 20 different sports, with all of the most popular alternatives – like football, tennis, rugby etc – being accounted for. The kinds of sports which are missing, and are catered for by some other bookmakers, are the likes of table tennis, futsal and water polo.
For those sports which DafaBet do cover, there are generally a very good range of competitions, tournaments and events which are featured. However… you’ll only find 20-50 markets available per event… other bookmakers are offering 100+.
Layout and navigation is intuitive but we strongly suggest you check out Betvictor and compare their markets per event before joining Dafabet as you’ll just get many more options.
In-Play Betting Review at DafaBet
Is live betting offered at DafaBet?
- Very simplistic
- Live scores, no stats
- No live streams offered
- Compares badly to other bookies
The main page of the DafaBet in-play betting section lists all of the events currently in-play and those which are about to go in-play, making it easy to find the event you want. A good range of events are available, too, with most of the sports which DafaBet cover seeing at least some events go in-play.
Once an event has gone in-play, DafaBet punters usually have around ten to 25 in-play markets to choose from. That’s a reasonable range but is a smaller selection than is offered by many of the more established bookmakers.
DafaBet’s in-play interface, however, pales in comparison to those offered by the big boys of the betting industry.
Extremely simplistic live scoreboards often feature few if any statistics and most events do not benefit from any kinds of live updates or commentary to keep punters in touch with what’s going on.
DafaBet also do not have any form of live streaming to allow their customers to watch the action as they bet.
The top and bottom of it here is that you’re better off elsewhere and we suggest checking out these inplay betting sites before you join Dafabet.
New customer offer
- No joining bonus
- Completely lacking promotions
- £30 previous offer removed
- No incentive to join at all
Before we round up our review of DafaBet, we should take the time to assess their welcome promotion for new customers… if there was one!
The offer they used to run gave customers the chance to receive a free bet worth up to £30 if their first bet loses but they recently removed the deal altogether meaning there is literally zero incentive for new customers to sign up to the site.
This is a massive black mark against their name as far as we’re concerned, hence their score of 0 points in this section, and given their below par offering in general we struggle to see how they can compete vs almost any other bookmaker in the space.
Check out our free bets section to see the type of offers most bookmakers are running.
Our Verdict of Dafabet
Like many of the companies which have recently entered the UK market, there are areas in which DafaBet’s service is adequete and others where it compares very poorly with better-established rivals.
The DafaBet website, for instance, is attractive and easy to navigate which is certainly not the case with some of the newer bookmakers around. Their range of sports, events and markets on offer to punters is fairly good, too, with only a handful of smaller sports failing to be represented.
A decent number of in-play betting opportunities are also regularly offered by DafaBet but that’s the end of the good news when it comes to the bookmaker’s in-play betting offering. Their in-play interface is nowhere near as good as those provided by the major online bookmakers, they typically offer fewer in-play markets per event and have no live streaming.
If you couple all the site and feature issues with the fact that Dafabet aren’t running any kind of welcome bonus and there isn’t a single promotion running on the site then it’s very hard to say much good about them.
We simply can’t recommend you join because there are better options out there – see our betting reviews to find out where you should be betting.
