Who Will Win the Carabao Cup?
Will the northern domination of the Carabao Cup end in the 2023-24 season. Not since a win for Chelsea in 2015 has a team from the south lifted the trophy.
Although weakened line-ups are fielded, the Carabao Cup has been dominated by the top Premier League clubs. Those with the strongest squads are the ones to consider backing to win this competition.
Another Win for Manchester?
Seven of the last eight seasons have seen the Cup won either by Manchester City (five wins) or current cup holders Manchester United (twice).
- City are 7/2 at bet365 to win the Carabao Cup. With the sheer depth of their squad, those look like pretty decent odds to take.
- United are 9/1 at BetVictor and could again go deep though their squad depth doesn’t look that great.
- Liverpool won in 2022 and are 7/1 at William Hill and have to be considered.
London Success?
What about the southern challenge? Well, Arsenal haven’t won the Carabao Cup since 1993 and BetVictor will give you 8/1 on an overdue triumph. They have strengthened their squad this season.
Tottenham have made a bright start to the season and are a tempting 12/1 at bet365. They might not be consistent enough to launch a title bid but a cup win looks possible.

We believe that while Manchester City remain in the competition, they are the team to beat with Chelsea and Tottenham also strongly fancied.
