Welcome to the Cheeky Punter review of Bet365. Before we dive into the full details I’d just like to personally recommended Bet365 to both UK and worldwide players. They have been given a 5 star rating in our bookmaker reviews section which means that they are one of a small group of online bookmakers who we consider rock solid.
This means your money is as safe as it can be with them and you can have confidence they pay out on winning bets.
The range of markets they have available is second to none and the operation can be considered ‘state of the art’ when compared to other online bookmakers. They regularly pioneer new industry developments and smash it out of the part when it comes to live streaming, in-play betting and their mobile app.
I use Bet365, the staff here at Cheeky Punter use Bet365, and we’d all put our reputations on the line to recommend plus there’s a top sign up offer for new customers.
Licensing & Safety
Is Bet365 Safe? Well Bet365 currently hold a gambling license granted by the UK Gambling Commission, so yes they are. This means that to continue to operate they must adhere to the guidelines set out in the license agreement.
Their UK Gambling Commission license means they must:
- Conduct all gambling in a fair and open way.
- Make sure that minors and those considered to be vulnerable are protected against gambling.
- Make available help for anyone who develops any kind of gambling related issues.
- Notify the UK Gambling Commission of anyone who is a shareholder in Bet365 and provide the Commission with contact details for these people.
- Must notify the UK Gambling Commission of all measures to protect customer funds should the company cease to exist.
What Happens If They Don’t Comply?
They’ll have their license removed and they will no longer be able to accept any kind of gambling transaction.
You’ll be pleased to know that the UK Gambling Commission have the power to enforce their code of practice and if any one or any company is found to be in breach of the terms and conditions laid out then action will be taken to remove the license immediately.
Deposits & Withdrawals
For obvious reasons Bet365 are keen to make it as easy as possible for punters to move money into and out of their accounts.
They do a good job of both and when compared to some of the smaller or newer online bookmakers actually offer way more options on this front.
Being versatile and make life easy for punters is important to scoring a high review ranking at Cheeky Punter and once you check out what Bet365 offer on this front I’m sure you’ll be impressed.
To Deposit At Bet365
I found getting money into Bet365 easy, quick and simple. They accept a range of major debit and credit cards as well as various different e-wallets and online payment options.
All my deposits were free of charge and most processed instantly. Limits ranged depending on what deposit method I went for.
I was able to pull up full list of deposit options by visiting the Bet365 website and scrolling to the foot of the page. I then selected ‘Payments’ if on desktop or if on mobile ‘Bet365 FAQ’ and then clicked the ‘Payments’ tab.
From here you I could then select my country and currency to see what options were available.
To Withdraw From Bet365
To be able to withdraw from Bet365 all I had got to do was head on over to the ‘My Account’ section.
Here I found a link for withdrawals. After clicking I selected my method of withdrawal and the amount I wanted to cash out. Depending on the method I used, I tried a few, money was wither returned instantly or took up to a few days to get back in my pocket.
As one of the biggest online betting sites you’d expect Bet365 to have it down when it comes to their customer support and in my experience they do. I’ve used and would recommend the following methods:
24/7 Live Chat – I’m a big fan of the live chat support available at Bet365 and have used it quite a few times successfully. Often operators were available instantly, otherwise a couple of minutes wait is all I was faceed with, it’s nice to have a real human ready to respond to queries.
Email Support – another option I’ve tested is to email the customer service department at Bet365 and wait for a response to my question via email. My questions sent in via email were usually responded too within a couple of hours (but it does obviously depend on how busy they are). If you can’t wait for a reply then I recommend live chat as a better option.
Telephone – I’ve also used the telephone support option available at Bet365. It was a simple process of gust giving them a call, waiting in line and when I got through help was at hand. Tip: it’s often a good idea to have your account info ready if you’re question relates to account activity as this was requested.
Post – if you really want to Bet365 also provide a contact address you can use to get in touch via post. I haven’t tried it and can’t see any reason I’d need it but it’s there if you think you might.
I found all these support options by visiting the Bet365 website -> scrolling to the bottom of the page and finding the help section then selecting the ‘contact us’ link.
Markets & Odds
Right lets dive into the juicy part and take a look at the different markets that are on offer. There are simply too many sports to list when it comes to betting options with markets from all over the globe. The type of sports you’ll find are things like:
- American Football
- Aussie Rules
- Greyhound Racing
- Horse Racing
- Ice Hockey
- Motor Racing
Basically Bet365 offer a heck of a lot of sports options to their punters. They got some really obscure stuff on there which you won’t find at other online bookmakers and they’ve got a mass of different options on popular sports such as Football, Cricket, Tennis and Horse Racing.
All the sports you can bet on at Bet365 are listed on their website or app and their new improved interactive platform allows you to quickly pull up odds on any sport into the main screen area whenever you want. I’ve always found the platform Bet365 use is super quick and load times for all markets are virtually non existent. In my opinion they’ve also got one of the biggest and best In-Play sections around.
No Bet365 review would be complete without a look at the In-Play suite Bet365 provide to all their punters…
Don’t worry before you ask yes they do cover more matches than those listed above (that’s just what’s available right now) – in fact the vast majority of the markets offered at Bet365 are turned in-play. From my experience Bet365 have the widest range of in-play odds and markets you’ll find anywhere on the web.
To see what’s available just hit any ‘In-Play’ link or button on the Bet365 website and you’ll get to where you need to be.
In my opinion another top feature is the way you can favourite different markets in their live section. This sticks your chosen market to the top of the screen so you can see what’s happening without too much scrolling. I just clicked the star next to any market I wanted to add to my favourites and it was listed before the rest. A top quality feature, simple, yet very effective!
I’m also a big fan of the live scores and match stats in the In-Play section at Bet365, very handy for staying up to date with what’s going on live in the event. The stats provided are actually pretty in-depth, I’ve found the bigger the event the more are available, and great for things like team form or head to heads.
Anyone doing a review of Bet365 looking at their In-Play options would be impressed and on top of all the features mentioned above you can even watch some events live via the In-Play section as well – this is a bet and watch service. You need a funded account or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours to watch and geo restrictions do apply.
Bet365 Live Streaming Service
A massive range of sporting events are now streaming live at Bet365 thanks to their impressive live streaming service – it’s one of the things I like best about their site.
The service is available to anyone who has a funded account with Bet365 or who has placed a bet in the last 24 hours (geo restrictions do apply). You can get access to most streams if you meet the above criteria but if it’s horse racing then you must have bet a minimum of 50p on the race to watch.
What Sports Are Shown?
You can use the guide below to see what’s on and coming soon (click the sports box to change your sport):
- Horse Racing
- Table Tennis
- Beach Volleyball
- Ice Hockey
- American Football
- Rugby Union
Remember geo restrictions apply and you need a funded account or bet in the last 24 hours to view.
If you look at the live streaming schedule you’ll see that there are live events on most days at Bet365 and I love the fact you can now access streams via the in-play suite which means you can watch and see the odds on screen at the same time. I was able to access live streaming on both my desktop and mobile device.
I know this particular review hasn’t really found any negatives so far but when you look at the in-play suite it just can’t be rivalled by any other bookmaker that offers users the safety and security that Bet365 do. You’ll love it.
The Bet365 bonus available when I signed up was the usual up to £100 in bet credits deal.
Here’s the steps I took to get the bonus when I opened my account:
- Visited the Bet365 website (click link to open site now)
- Click the ‘Join Now’ option and entered my personal details.
- Deposited £100 into my new account using my debit card.
- Placed various bets until I’d wagered £100 in total which then released my bet credits (min odds 1.20 per bet).
- I Then used the bet credits to place more bets and was able to instantly withdraw any winnings minus the actual credits themselves.
BIG PLUS: once I’d released my bet credits I was able to withdraw any winnings from using them straight away.
You’ll have noticed at the top of this page I’ve given Bet365 a 5 out of 5 star site rating.
A 5 star rating is defined in the Cheeky Punter review section as:
‘The best of the best bookmakers, we trust these guys with our money and so should you.’
What this basically means is that we believe Bet365 is one of the safest online bookies you’ll find online. Any winning bets I’ve ever placed at Bet365 have been paid out and paid out promptly and I was always able to withdraw my cash with no questions asked (aside from a quick verification check).
Bet365 are clearly a global brand, their website is available in multiple different languages, I’m a big fan of the Bet365 app and the Bet365 casino app and their presence across the world in the industry is second to none (just turn on any big sporting event and you’ll see what I mean). They don’t often get the coverage and exposure they deserve online as they won’t pay top dollar to appear in the recommended spots of online portals and review sites.
They rely on webmasters, like me, to review them with honesty and showcase the features they can offer punters as well as the piece of mind.
Does Bet365 give free bets?
Bet365 doesn’t offer free bets to customers any more, instead they use bet credits as their welcome bonus which are very similar, but you have to place an initial bet to trigger them so technically they aren’t free.
Do Bet365 do best odds guaranteed?
When we last checked Bet365 does offer best odds guaranteed on horse racing.
Can you cash out on Bet365?
Yes, when we checked, Bet365 does offer cash out on most markets and have recently introduced both partial cash out and auto cash out features making it easier than ever to cash out your position in-play.
Does Bet365 do acca insurance?
As far as we know Bet365 do not offer acca insurance but they do run other accumulator betting offers. Full details of which can be found under the ‘Promotions’ tab on their website.
Does Bet365 take PayPal?
Last time we checked, from the UK, Bet365 was accepting PayPal deposits from customers and you could also withdraw from your account using PayPal as well.
