Review of Boylesports
Boylesports is one of Ireland’s biggest online bookmakers and they’ve got plenty to offer punters with more promotions than most and a decent welcome bonus as well. After conducting a full Boylesports review we’ve given them a 3.5 star rating and below we’ll explain why in our full review below.
I know most of the attention, when it comes to Irish bookies, is on Paddy Power because of their marketing but Boylesports do actually also offer a decent service to punters however when compared to bigger European bookmakers they do still have some work to do.
If you don’t currently have an account with Boylesports then there’s a £10 free bet on offer to new customers (when you bet £10) along with a host of different promotions to take advantage of once you’ve joined.

How To Deposit To Boylesports
Depositing into an existing Boylesports account is easy and can be done via the site, app or through any of Boylesports chain of shops in Ireland and the UK.
In shops, just hand over your cash and give the cashier your account number and username and the account will be credited immediately.
You can also deposit on the app or the website using a number of popular methods including Debit Cards, eWallet services, Bank Transfer, Paysafecard, BOKU, as well as GooglePay and ApplePay.
This is often simply a case of choosing the payment method, adding your details (if they are not already saved to your account) and then entering how much you wish to deposit.
Click the proceed button and your deposit should be in your account instantly.
However, if you intend to access the site’s welcome bonus, then double check your selected payment method will be eligible for you to receive the bonus as Boylesports does not offer the bonus on some payment methods, notably eWallet services such as PayPal, Skrill and NETELLER.
How To Withdraw From Boylesports
You can withdraw money from your Boylesport account in a number of ways and Boylesports do not charge a fee for any withdrawal method, which is good news for punters.
To make a withdrawal, log into your Boylesports account, click on the Account button and then select Payment Methods.
A list of withdrawal options will be available to you based on which payment methods you have used on the site before. Simply select the one you want to use and enter the amount you wish to withdraw.
Confirm the withdrawal and that is it.
As is customary for UK sites nowadays, Boylesports will make withdrawals back to your initial deposit option where possible. So if you made your initial deposit by Debit Card, the withdrawal will be made to Debit Card.
One thing to note is that for your first withdrawal you may need to verify your account, for which you may need to provide some personal details and information so the bookmaker can confirm your identity. This will delay your initial withdrawal, but once completed you won’t need to verify your details again (unless you make a sizeable withdrawal).
How Long Does It Take To Withdraw At Boylesports?
Boylesports state that all the available withdrawal methods on site will take between 3-5 working days to process. Remember that weekends and bank holidays are not included as working days.

Review of Boylesports Website
Is Boylesports easy to use?
Boylesports Mobile Review
Boylesports mobile app has a decent rating of 3.9/5 but from only 300 ratings, however, a good proportion of those ratings are five star reviews, and a lot of the lower reviews are people that have lost money on the site and seem to be just having a complain about that.
In terms of the app, we couldn’t find much fault with it. It is perhaps not quite as stable as some of the best apps around on the market today, bet365 Sport’s app for example, but it is still a good site and does seem to be popular, especially with infrequent casual punters.
The layout of the app mirrors the desktop and is logical and easy to follow. In general it seems to follow the same layout standard that most other of the top betting apps are using with menu items across the top and in the footer with an A-Z menu included to find all different bets and a promotions tab for the latest offers.
All in all the app is well designed and easy to use.
Boylesports Desktop Review
We have to note that Boylesports site does strike a more than passing resemblance to Betfred’s, specifically because of the colour scheme used. Like Betfred, the site is easy to navigate although it does have an Irish twist with Gaelic Football and other Irish sports featuring more prominently than they do on other sites.
It is easy to navigate and to get to any type of bet you want on the Boylesport site and it is fair to say that Boylesports have worked hard to improve and increase the number of promotions on offer on the site in recent times, to some success and they have started to develop their Virtual Sports service too.
One area where the site does lag behind others though is in terms of its In-Play service, which only features Live Streaming on Horse Racing, and only then if you have made a qualifying bet on the race. Boylesports have improved the number of markets available via live betting recently, but the lack of live streaming is still a big cross against them here.
Boylesports reviews slightly less well overall when it comes to the website than the app but the learning curve is short and things are improving all the time.

Markets & Odds at Boylesports
What sports can you bet on at Boylesports?
Boylesports, although based in Gibraltar for tax purposes, is actually Ireland’s second largest bookmaker (behind Paddy Power); therefore they are well positioned to offer a large variety of different sports to be bet on, although there are other sites with greater diversity. The sports that are featured on Boylesports are:
- American Football
- Aussie Rules
- GAA Football
- GAA Hurling
- Horse Racing
- Ice Hockey
- Table Tennis
The layout of the site is such that it is easy to navigate around and find more detailed information on each of the individual sporting events, whether this is a horse race, a lower league football match or an ice hockey match being played thousands of miles from the United Kingdom.
The fact that the site and app are so easy to navigate around ensures that you will never become frustrated when trying to place a bet on anything and you’ll always be able to find the bet you want to place with ease.
Depth of markets per event is good, whilst not right up there with our top rated bookmakers, and odds are competitive but again not at the top of the pile when it comes to value. You’ll likely get better prices on football, for example, at Betvictor.
In-Play Betting Review at Boylesports
Is live betting offered at Boylesports?
Like all other major online bookmakers, Boylesports operates a service whereby people can bet on different sporting events as they are being held.
This means that it is possible to place bets on such things as the time of the next goal in a football match or on the next player to score a basket in a game of basketball. The odds given for these occurrences are constantly changing, so the website is quick to update to ensure that you always get fair odds.
Live betting at Boylesports can be found using the ‘In-play’ tab in the top nav bar next to the ‘Sports’ tab – it’s also in the second spot in the left hand menu and easy to get to on the app.
Here you’ll be taken to all the events they offer live odds on, clicking an event opens all the markets available in the main content area. On the right hand side of the screen you’ll see a live scores type widget which keeps you up to date with the score and game stats, below you’ll see match odds.
Unfortunately we’ve had to mark Boylesports down here because the design and layout of their in-play offering is pretty poor. The current system of arrows are clearly out of place and although a favourites option is available to pin events at the top the system just needs work.
For them to keep up with the likes of Bet365 (who have the best live betting around) they need to work on this. They also need to offer live streaming on more than just horse racing which is all they’ve got right now.

Our Verdict of Boylesports
This Boylesports review is similar to all the other reviews we’ve got listed on our site in that at the top of the page you’ll see a grade. Boylesports have achieved a 3.5 star grade in our ranking system – let us explain why it’s not a higher.
First and foremost we don’t like the fact that users who deposit using Neteller, Skirll and prepaid cards can’t claim the bonus on offer. Just because you prefer to use a certain deposit option shouldn’t rule you out of the reward for joining up with an online bookmaker. It’s also only available to those in the UK and Ireland which excludes the rest of Europe.
The free bet offer at Boylesports has been much improved from the previous free bet bundle deal which was hard to get full value from. The new bet £10 get £10 offer is comparable to but not as big as other free bet offers which means it sits about in the middle of the pack in terms of bonuses.
No live streaming is offered, other than horse racing, by Boylesports and whilst this isn’t necessary to get a higher grade it’s still a negative point. Their live betting suite is pretty good but would be so much better if live streaming was included and they need to sort design and layout to get a higher mark here.
There’s no doubt that Boylesports are offering a good service to all their punters and your money is safe with them. They’ll payout on all winning wagers and withdrawals are processed in a timely manner.

Does Boyelsports accept PayPal?
Boylesports accept PayPal for both deposits and withdrawals. You can deposit £5 or more instantly into your account and withdrawals are processed within a 24 hour time period but are often instant.
