Editors Note:

In our Coral review we’ll show you exactly how to claim the £20 bonus (only £5 deposit needed) which all new punters are applicable for and we’ll review each aspect of the site individually and honestly.

Since the Ladbrokes Coral merger Coral have actually undergone a full redesign of both their website and their app. It’s leaps and bounds better than it was before and personally I’ve found myself using them on a much more regular basis.

The new design really highlights their in-play betting features and live streaming plus they seem to have gone in hard on additional promotions – never a bad thing!

There’s a great bonus offer for anyone who joins the Coral bookmakers as a new customer today, bet £5 get £20 in free bets, plus you can download their free app to place bets via your mobile phone.

How To Deposit To Coral?

It’s pretty easy to deposit money into your betting account with Coral. The site accepts a wide range of different payment services, including debit and credit (non-UK customers) cards, plus a range of eWallet and pay card services.

All deposits made are free of charge and go through instantaneously, which means that funds are available to bet with as soon as you need them. The limits on how much you can deposit varies and depends on the payment method used.

Log into your account and click on the green ‘Deposit’ box in the top right corner. Here you will see the popular payment methods listed, select which one you want to use and then from there, enter the amount of your deposit.

Click to complete the transaction and you will have your funds in your account in no time.

How To Withdraw From Coral?

To withdraw from Coral is very simple. You can click on your account details to see how much of your balance is available to withdraw, a very handy tool if you have bonuses active on your account.

If you have funds to withdraw, click on the Withdraw option and then enter the amount you would like to withdraw from your account.

Your withdrawal will be made back to the payment method you last used to deposit on your account.

How Long Does It Take To Withdraw At Coral?

Coral has a different approach to many bookmakers when it comes to customer support. You can access support on their social media sites on Twitter and Facebook and on the site and app, there is an extensive help section which will allow you to find the results of most of your queries.

To get in touch with customer service at Coral find and click the ‘Contact Us’ link (in the footer of the desktop site and app).

By clicking on the relevant queries and questions you may have, you can then find the answer to your question, although if you can’t, you can then elect to contact customer support by either of the two methods shown above, or also by a Live Chat or Email.

To go directly to Coral via Twitter check out @CoralHelp or to use Facebook instead use this link: https://www.facebook.com/coral

Be aware that the Live Chat is not a 24/7 service and you must use the on site form to send an email query.

The customer service options at Coral may seem a little cumbersome and time consuming at first, but generally most simple queries can be resolved through using this system and that means that you only have the more unusual enquiries go through to customer support.

We’d rather see direct access to support though so in this category Coral reviews slightly less well than our very top bookmakers.

Review of Coral Website

Mobile & desktop site review

Coral Mobile Review

Coral have their own app which covers both the sports betting and casino parts of the site. The mobile app is very similar in look and design to the website and it has a rating of around 3.3/5 from over 1,600 ratings.

Interestingly, there are a lot of five star reviews and a lot of one star reviews, which does tend to mean that the site may be a bit ‘marmite’ you either love it, or you don’t like it at all.

From our experience, we have found the app clear and easy to use. Navigating is simple and intuitive and where you’d expect to find things, such as the A-Z sports listing or the In Play betting are easily accessed by icons at the foot of the home page.

Placing bets is quick and easy but where we do have one issue is in the number of updates. Coral don’t update their app too much and this has led to a few issues over the years. We do prefer regular updates to ensure the mobile service is running optimally and going six months or longer without an update is a concern.

Coral Desktop Review

When Coral joined forces with Ladbrokes a few years back, the site underwent something of a redesign and since then, the desktop website has been much improved and very easy to use.

We like the fact the A-Z sports listing is on the left hand side, with the main sporting betting markets and promotions etc listed at the top of the page. Navigating the site is quick and easy, as is placing bets with the site.

If there is one gripe we have, it is the lack of a search bar to quickly type in what you want to find, rather than navigating the site, but that is not so much an issue when you have a site that is as well designed as Coral.

For our money, Coral’s website is a better alternative than the app, but it is a very close call between the two and both are solid for any punter seeking to enjoy a bet.

How To Join Coral

Signing up with Coral is a very simple process and is quick to complete. Signing up is available on the app or website.

  1. Open up Coral by clicking this link and then select the ‘Join’ button.
  2. Complete the required details on the registration form.
  3. Choose your username and a password.
  4. Hit the create account button and your account will be set up.

It’s a quick and easy process but be sure to read on as futher down our Coral review page is full info on the sign up bonus on offer for new customers.

Coral were due a big overhaul of their live betting section and thankfully recently that happened. The homepage of the in-play section shows all of the different live events currently being bet on, and it also shows events that are due to start soon.

Coral InplayTo find out more information on the specific event, click on the event and you will be presented with all of the latest odds and statistics.

Once you’ve accessed an event, instead of the very low key live scores screen along with the odds in the main content area, you now get much more detailed game stats and live odds. There’s plenty of in-play options and the ability to favourite certain events to pin them to the top of the screen is a big plus.

To get to the in-play section of the website simply click on the ‘Bet In Play’ tab at the top of the page, which can be found second from the left in the top menu.

Live Streaming at Coral…

Another recent update at Coral has seen the addition of a live streaming service to their sportsbook. However it’s a slightly dialed down version of what’s available at Bet365 who show the most streams per year across football, tennis, snooker, rugby and basketball.

The service is available via the coral betting app, which is another big plus and to watch you need a funded account or a £1 bet if it’s horse racing or greyhounds.

Coral Live Streaming

Live streams are shown alongside live odds and games offered are marked with a little TV icon and ‘Watch Live’ text in the in play betting section.

Overall Review

Here’s our overall take on things…
Our Verdict of Coral
One of the best most trusted bookies
OUR RATING FOR:
CORAL
4.5 | 5

We kicked off our review by displaying the fact that we’ve given Coral a 4.5 star grade. This is the second best grade any site can achieve behind 5 stars. Let us explain why we’ve graded the Coral bookmakers as we have.

First and foremost pretty much every punter has heard the name Coral bookies at some point. They’ve got shops up and down the country and have a flawless rep among online gamblers. They are regulated and licensed in the UK and you can be sure your money is always safe with them and that they will pay out on all winning wagers – that’s a good starting point and very important to us.

Secondly they do provide a wide range of markets on their site and they’ve got a decent, recently updated, live console available to users. There’s a £20 free bet when you join and there’s a couple of other solid promo’s to take advantage of.

There are some downsides with Coral though which have prevented them from getting the full 5 star rating. Their website isn’t quite as easy to navigate as some of the bigger bookies and they don’t quite stock as many markets per event as we might like. However recent improvements in both areas have boosted them from 4 star to 4.5 stars.

Coral are a good solid option for any online punter, they are trustworthy and that matters. They stack up well against all other bookmakers we’ve reviewed – we know you’ll like them.
