Tennis Punters Look Out For…
- In-Play Betting & Live Streaming – most bookmakers offer in-play betting on tennis but not all offer live streaming of matches via their website or app, the best obviously have both.
- Retirement Guarantee – some bookies just void bets that involve a player who retires but some will pay you out as a winner if your player progresses.
- Tennis Specific Offers – these are few and far between but insurance and acca bonuses are out there for tennis if you look hard enough.
- Free Bet Clubs – usually these require you to place a specific number of bets through the week and if you meet the target you’ll get a free bet as a reward.

Best Tennis Betting Sites: Top 10
The following is a list of the best sites for tennis betting – click the bookmaker name will take you to our review:
Tennis Betting With Bet365
What are they like?
The Bet365 tennis section is very user friendly with highlighted matches at the very top of the tennis section. These focus on the current tournament that is in-play on that day or week.
One of the sections they have on the tennis page is the “popular bets” which picks out some of the most common bets placed by other punters like you. These can be bets picked out by bet365 traders or come from bets by other punters using the bet365 bet builder tool.
The range of future tournaments shown is extensive, and during our review, the tennis page showed fifty-one upcoming tournaments. It is not only the number of tournaments but the range of markets that make Bet365 one of the strongest sportsbook choices for tennis.
When looking at one of the recent ATP tour events, we found that each match had fifty-eight separate markets to choose from.
However, our favourite part of the bet365 tennis page/offer is their tennis-specific promotions which you can find directly under the tournaments list and often include an accumulator bonus, retirement guarantee, bet builder and in-play cash out.
Bet365 also offers a full set of live streaming options for tennis as well as one of the best value welcome bonus on the market.
Tennis Betting With Betvictor
What are they like?
Betvictor are easily another of the best betting sites for tennis really excel when it comes to their offering in this sport, thanks to the breadth of betting options made available and the quality of their in-play service.
Much like Bet365, Betvictor price up an impressive array of tennis tournaments all year round, from the Grand Slams at one end of the spectrum to ITF and Challenger tour events at the other. Each of the matches played as part of those tournaments, too, typically feature an excellent selection of markets for punters to choose from.
When a match goes in-play, what’s more, Betvictors in-play service ranks as one of the very best around. A peerless selection of in-play markets are made available to punters and are always presented along with excellent live scoreboards and handy text commentary. They also have a sweet new customer bonus…
Tennis Betting With Unibet
What are they like?
Tennis is one of the most popular betting sports at Unibet. Unlike many other sportsbooks where it is buried deep down on the other sports list, just click on “SPORTS” when you hit the home page and you’ll find tennis near the top of the left-hand menu under the “popular” sports section.
The user interface is very simple on Unibet with main matches at the top of the section. What we liked about tennis on Unibet is that you can view betting options by All Tennis, Matches or Outrights. This makes it easy to find what you are looking for.
Prices for matches are very clear with large white text on a green background. Unlike other sportsbooks, the odds really stand out.
Where Unibet are weak is in the area of markets per event. Looking at the matches listed on the site, we found an average of 20-25 markets per match which is significantly lower than some other sportsbooks. They do make up for this with their welcome offer which is more attractive than most of the bookmakers out there though.
Scroll down to the bottom of the tennis page and you’ll find some great content that explains some of the common types of bets and also how tennis betting works – great if you’re a new punter.
Tennis Betting With Betfred
What are they like?
Betfred is one of the bookmakers that focus on tennis as one of its major betting sports. When you reach the home page just go to the left-hand sidebar menu and you’ll see tennis indicated by the yellow tennis ball icon.
Clicking on this will take you to the tennis section. From here it is easy to navigate to any match.
You will first be offered three options which are In-play, Ante-Post and More. Clicking on In-play will take you to all the current live matches where the match odds are displayed very clearly. To see all available markets just click on the blue “MORE BETS” button.
For each game you are presented with a graphic with stats showing for both players. These stats include: aces served, double faults served and percentage of first serves won.
It’s a great feature and designed so you can scroll through and get a quick snapshot of how each player is performing – very helpful for bet selection and a unique feature to this tennis betting site.
To be able to watch tennis live on Betfred you just need to make sure you have a funded account with at least £0.01 in it, which is great for not only tennis punters but tennis fans in general who might want to catch a match.
The Betfred welcome offer is also well above the industry average so a great incentive for new players to sign up.
Tennis Betting With William Hill
What are they like?
Another outstanding tennis betting site, William Hill also manage to offer that all-important combination of a great array of available markets, excellent in-play and an almost unmatched live streaming service.
Just like our other recommended bookmakers, William Hill also cover all manner of tennis events from the Grand Slams down to ITF and Challenger Tour tournaments, and offer a great selection of markets for matches from those events.
Once a match starts, the action doesn’t stop at William Hill, either, as the vast majority of the matches they cover also go in-play for players to continue their betting as much as they wish. When a match is in-play, a William Hill punter is presented with an in-depth live scoreboard and – depending on their country of residence – any logged in user can also watch a live stream of the match.
Tennis Betting With Betfair
What are they like?
Tennis punters are going to love the options available on the Betfair sportsbook. As soon as you reach the home page you are greeted with their excellent welcome offer.
Unlike many other sportsbooks, you have to search or scroll to find tennis betting. On Betfair, you’ll find it in the main menu at the top of the page to the right of horse racing.
Clicking that will bring you to a page with all the current live matches and all the events happening soon. Just click on the arrow (>) to the right of the match prices and this opens all the betting markets available on that particular match.
This section is laid out in a tab format so you can easily bet on game, point, set, handicaps and specials. Each of these tabs then has multiple markets to bet on as well.
Following a game is very easy as well, with both live stream and live graphics updates of scoring and match stats. Betfair is without doubt one of the most in-depth tennis betting sites with a wide selection of fast markets and the ability to back and lay bets via their exchange.
Tennis Betting With Paddy Power
What are they like?
Whereas most bookies make it easy to find the tennis section, it is totally the opposite with Paddy Power. When you reach the home page it is nowhere to be seen. Of course, the left side menu contains the popular sports but to find tennis you need to scroll down and select A-Z Betting.
Most sportsbooks will have A-Z Sports which is much clearer and easier for the user.
Once you are on the tennis page then you might get easily confused as the layout does not separate matches clearly and the grey text on a white background is not in our opinion user friendly.
Of course, Paddy Power is one of the world’s biggest bookmakers with excellent offers on sports like football and horse racing, but tennis punters may be disappointed although live streaming is offered which is a big plus.
Of course, Paddy Power always have one of the best welcome offers and have a vast amount of promotions across all sports, however, we feel they have a fair bit to improve on the tennis betting side.
Tennis Betting With Coral
What are they like?
When it comes to the betting service they offer to tennis fans, it’s fair to say that Coral serve an ace. Excelling in terms of the breadth of tournaments covered, the number of markets made available and the tennis specific promotions run, the bookmaker really are a cut above the rest.
As you would expect from a major bookmaker, Coral provide betting opportunities for Grand Slams, the Davis Cup and all WTA and ATP tour events. That’s nowhere near the end of the story, however, as Coral also price up almost every ITF and Challenger level tournament. What that means is that there is not a day of the active tennis season when the bookmaker do not present a whole host of tennis betting opportunities.
The breadth of markets provided for each match within those many tournaments is really impressive, too, and comprises both pre-match and in-play options aplenty. When it comes to in-play, Coral also boast a user-friendly interface with great live scoring and a great potential for live streaming of many matches to boot.
Tennis Betting With Ladbrokes
What are they like?
On the Ladbrokes site, you will find the options for tennis vast with the majority of matches having between 60-70 markets to select from – more than some of even the best tennis betting sites.
When on the home page at Ladbrokes you can reach the tennis section from the main top menu, but also from the in-play and livestream menu which is just below the main offer banners on the home page.
This sub-menu also shows you a tennis ball icon with the number of current live events so you can see betting opportunities at a glance.
The main welcome offer is not as attractive as some of the other mainstream bookmakers, however, tennis punters will love the acca options on Ladbrokes with boosts and insurance available on the sport (acca insurance covers your bet if you have one losing selection if you place a certain number of legs – paid as a free bet).
If you are signed into your account, you will be able to watch a lot of the matches via Ladbrokes TV which can be found by clicking the live stream tab or the video play icon to the left of the match odds.
Tennis Betting With 888Sport
What are they like?
888Sport is one of the best betting sites for tennis punters and with a solid welcome offer, plenty of markets and tennis specific promotions throughout the year there’s plenty of reasons to join.
Finding the tennis section is easy as it is featured on the main navigation on the home page. Just click on the tennis ball icon and you are taken to a very simple interface that has featured matches at the top.
However, it is the list of future matches that is impressive. When we undertook our review there were over 200 matches priced up from different tournaments all over the world. These were not just major tournaments.
This is a site for serious tennis punters who can recognise the value in some of the lower level competitions and tourneys with prices available on many markets in advance.
At the bottom of the tennis section, you’ll find a series of links which include:

The app and mobile version are very much the same but of course, the app makes it quicker to find the exact markets you are looking for.

Bets are added to your slip very quickly and placing a bet on some of the tennis fast markets like next point are processed quicker on the app than on the mobile version or desktop website. Tennis Bets FAQ
Tennis betting has evolved greatly over the last couple of years and all of the bookmakers we’ve mentioned above offer a wide range of different bets on tennis.
Because tennis is a fluid game made up of points, games and sets it means that the bookmakers can provide a wide range of fun and interesting bets.
Tennis now gives punters the very same opportunity that football punters have enjoyed, so let’s take a look at some of the different types of bets you can place on tennis.
Next Point – In any tennis match, you can bet on the next point. Of course, the player serving in the game has the advantage of securing the next point each time. This means it’s likely that the server will be priced up at odds on to win the next point.
Next Game – Similar to the next point, the next game is a way for tennis punters to be involved in a match every step of the way. Again, the server will be at an advantage here and is likely to be priced up at odds on.
Set Betting – Next we look at set betting and here you’re making a judgement on which player will win the set. You might take into account who is serving first in the set, whether they are already winning or behind in the match, and whether they have won or lost the previous set.
Set Scorecasts – For those tennis punters looking for a bit more value, then the set score cast is a great betting option. Here you are forecasting what the score will be in any particular set. Of course, in matches where you have two fancied players, You are likely to see a score of 6-4, 7-5 or 7-6.
In a match where you have one of the top players against a lesser ranked seed, you might expect to see a set score of 6-2 or 6-3.
Forecasting the set score is more difficult but the odds are ultimately bigger
Total Match Games – This market is usually an over-under market. If you are betting on total match games in tennis you need to take into account the number of sets in the match. Of course, women’s matches consist of three sets whilst men’s matches normally consist of five sets.
Therefore, a woman’s match is likely to have a maximum of 39 games, while a men’s match is likely to have a maximum of 65 games.
The bookmaker will set a number of games and the punter can choose whether he or she thinks that the total number of games will be under or over this amount.
Game Handicap Betting – This type of betting is very similar to the concept of spread betting. Handicap betting is extremely popular in US sports like American football and basketball.
As in a basketball match where the favourite team may have -8 and the underdog may have + 8, we can see the same in tennis betting.
As an example, Djokovic may have a handicap of -4 whilst Murray might have a handicap of + 4.
This means that if Djokovic wins 34 games and Murray wins 31 games then you would win if you backed Murray at + 4.
The same situation would be if Djokovic won 35 games and Murray won 30 games, then you would win if you backed Djokovic at -4.
Lose First Set but Win the Match – This is quite a popular bet with tennis punters and available at all the best tennis betting sites. Using our example above Djokovic may start slowly and lose the first set but most tennis punters know that Djokovic will still be likely to win the match. This is where tennis punters can find more value when backing a favourite.
FAQ
It’s impossible to say which bookmaker has the best tennis odds overall because prices vary so much from market to market. Betfair’s exchange is probably the best but won’t be as suitable as a regular betting site for most punters.
Bet365, Unibet, William Hill, Betfair, Coral, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power all have a live tennis streaming service. Use our list of upcoming tennis streams to see what you can watch and when.
We rank Bet365 as the best tennis betting site because they stream live matches, offer tennis specific promotions, have a wide range of markets, great odds and the biggest new customer bonus.
There’s no doubt in our minds that Bet365 are the kings of in-play betting and that’s no different when it comes to tennis. They’ve got live streaming alongside in-play betting and cash out on tennis bets as well.
Tennis matches usually have a strong odds on favourite so two of the best tennis bets that offer value to tennis punters are total game betting and match handicap betting. These two bets often offer higher odds than just a regular win single.
